I'd think you'd judge people more on their posting content than on their avatar. I have a pony avatar. Aside from maybe one or two rambles and sidetracks every three or four months, this forum is pretty light on the pony stuff. We have a dedicated thread and most of it stays in there.
I swear, there seems to be this sort of reaction to many things. Somebody liking something automatically causes some people to dislike it.

Are we seriously doing this?
The stupid pony avatars are irritating but complaining about them and buying into the whole thing is just giving em what they want. Let the ponies be all edgy or whatever the heck and get it out of their system, and just ignore it till it inevitably goes away. Also you can just adblock them.
