This. Seriously, those price valuations on rarityguide are laughable. In what parallel universe are Dreamcast sports titles worth $7 CIB, and the Web Browser $5 CIB?
This alone destroys any credibility they might have.
How bout there priceing on panzer dragoon saga?
This is borderline trolling, DC4ever. You have multiple people saying the same thing and you are responding with one particular game of 10's of thousands of games where there information may be accurate?
Use the site if you like. We are all aware of it - we were before and we still are. The consensus is that it is horribly off in most regards.
Let this one go, please.

Ebay completed listings is good, but they only very recent transactions.
VGPC is inherently flawed. It is a great service provided, but flawed. The prices make no distinction of condition OR completeness.
This tends to make sellers think a loose copy of mario sunshine worth $13. Reality is market on a disc only is about $4.
Conversely, a complete copy of 3 Ninjas Kick back worth $12.
Reality is it is worth about 50X that - literally.
Ebay completeds are the most accurate indicator of a game's current market value.

It's not VGPC that's flawed, it's the users who are. They should realize that the prices listed are an overall average, and that it will need to be adjusted based on the condition of whatever you're selling.

Very true. It's more work than using VGPC, but there's no more accurate indicator out there.

Too bad only about 10% of the people actually use ebay completeds as a go by(statistic pulled out of my ass).
So many times they will see some game listed as BIN for an absurd price and say well its going for $X on ebay! Or they will use some brick n mortar store price. If I wanted to pay store prices I would shop at the store for the convenience and quality assurance.

I concur. VGPC is very skewed, unless you take the time to look at the actual chart fluctuations, but it's still iffy. I think it's funny how people base the prices off exorbitant BIN's.

I don't know if I have any rare games... But I do have a couple of uncommon ones, like Ghouls n ghosts for the Master System.

Shoot, it still doesn't work
I reduced the number of "Now Playing" games to 1 and I still get the error: "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image." I even tried 0 games and still got the error.
Edit: Sorry for hijacking the thread, feel free to PM me instead of replying here!
Here's the solution. (The thread should probably be made sticky.)
Awesome, thanks! It worked!

Earthbound box..not a game but I love this f'n large snes box
P'radikus conflict nes (complete) not really rare per say but it is in flawless condition.
Suikoden 1 mint like double.
Fun N' Games snes (2 copies i picked up for 5 bucks)
That is off the top of my head but thats about it. Ive found all these in the wild. I cant force myself to pay inflated online BIN prices or ne crazy game store prices!

I used to have a copy of Mega Man for the Game Gear, which you don't see every day. Traded that away from some more common (and much more fun) SNES games.
My copy of Earthbound is probably the rarest game in my collection, although I'm not convinced it's all that rare.

Has Nintendo ever released any official sales numbers for the game?
