Does it come with a disc, or just the voucher?
a disc doesn't exist. It's just the voucher. But this package goes consistently for over $100 on eBay, so I'm shocked at the price I got it for.

I didn't think so. That's kind of hilarious that one of the most valuable PS3 games doesn't come with a game though.

no kidding. As much as I love the series, I couldn't let myself spend more than $50. But I'm thrilled at $31 + shipping. Sure it's twice as much as it cost at retail, but it was truly limited and I like the idea of adding this to my shelf. :)

hahaha nice. I've read MANY MANY reviews on there. :) Gradius III & IV is an awesome disc. Of course we're playing III for Together Retro later this month. My copy I bought off eBay and it said it was complete, but arrived with no manual :x so I still am missing the manual dammit.

I happened to be reading this fine article on Star Trek video games, when I read this:
There are some crazy prices quoted online for copies of Starfleet Command 3 if you don't shop around. Many of the most common search results for a new copy will return quotes of over $100 or sometimes $200 for a copy. Don't be fooled into accidentally ordering a copy of the Sybex strategy guide thinking you're buying the game! Even used copies command high prices. When we searched for this article, the cheapest were on Half.com for $74.
Suddenly, I remember buying a copy of Starfleet Command III at a Goodwill when I was in MI over the winter. I even remember being upset with myself that spent $4 on a game I probably wouldn't get around to playing any time soon. (still haven't). Turns out I got a game that's worth around $80. It's CIB and minty too!

A great site! Some clarity, the Zip file in my previous reply is the GRADIUS C.A.D. Wallpaper in a higher resolution, not the SHMUPS Logo.

appreciated. I tend to change my desktop once a month to reflect that month's Together Retro choice, so this will come in handy when we play Gradius III.
