Sounds like my realtor. She even dropped off a little care package for my first Christmas in the house.
The agent is working for the seller, not the buyer.
Not true. There is a seller's agent, but if you're serious about buying then you get yourself a buyer's agent (who's fee is paid by the seller) and that person IS working for you. Sometimes you'll see an agent representing both sides, but few agents will do so because of the conflict of interest.

After a day of hunting houses our agent asked why I was so keen on a good backyard and asked if we had kids. I told her that I was looking for one that either had or could have a natural noise barrier because we like to do movies in the backyard and dont want to piss off neighbors. She asked when the first one was and if she could get an invite.
Smile - despite not having any luck with renting places for our honeymoon, I just lucked out and will be booking it tonight.

Call me naive or whatever, but I'd personally find it really convenient to have a 24 minimart right behind me.
Snap into a lot of slim-jims?
Mini Marts sometimes attract the wrong crowd, which can lead to increased crime.
I still miss my old apartment that was across the street from a Carmike Theater. I jumped a creek, and I was there. Not the nicest theater in town, but $1 popcorn and drinks on Tuesdays.
Exactly. A great realtor (for me at least) works for both seller and buyer, especially ion negotiations. Our first offer on our now house was 35k less than what they were asking. We received a counter offer, dismissed it and offered around 25k less than listed price, and got the house. Still feel like a winner.
Smile: The jury summons I had forgotton about was for the 2pm group, so even though I went all the way to work and all the way back I'm still good. I'll find out by noon whether or not they still need the 2pm jurors.
