I bought a VGA cable off eBay. One of those cheap Chinese ones. But the signal is pretty good in my eyes.

Anyway, pictures is good. My TV recognizes it as PC. I can't get any sound from the red and white audio as my tv does not have RCA for that input. My tv seems to use 3.5 mm for that input. I can put the red one in there, but it fits really loose so it goes on and off.

Could I use this to get sound?:

Yes that should be fine. You can also get short cables that do the same thing in case that's too big to fit near other stuff with the 2 RCA jacks right there.

One of my tvs that I like to game on has no vga, but has component and HDMI. I'd prefer a component one, as I only have 1 HDMI port in this tv. And I would think a component converter would be cheaper as well.

That probably won't work. You'd be sending VGA into the TV's component input...

The other one I know even less about. Looks like it lets HDMI devices work on a VGA monitor.

You got an eBay seller selling VGA Cables like these:

They are cheap China made, but it does its job.

For anyone wanting Dreamcast VGA, those cables are not bad if you can win them in a bid for under 25 - 30 dollars. I got one, and it does it's job. My games are crystal clear on my 55 inch LCD. Well worth it.

I would have preferred the VGA Box, but to get a good one, you are going to spend like 70 bucks at least.
