Have you tried Kingdoms of Amalur? The questing outside of the main story sucks but the combat is pretty damn satisfying. It's a bit on the easy side if you do all the side quests but if you stick to the main story and not much else the game puts up a decent challenge. Took me about 20 hours to do one faction chain and the main story. :)

It's a pretty game too, and there's lots of lore. It's probably the best example of a Fable clone I've played.

Small-town Walmarts are like outposts of civilization.

My friend let me borrow Amalur, so I'll probably be starting that tomorrow now that I'm done with Diablo.

Just read the busomjack "Best collection thread".

How could people not get that the guy was baiting/screwing with people?

Awesome! Are you playing through the PSP version? I just finished that about 2 months ago and loved every minute.

Yeah, thus the inclusion of the game on my summer challenge list. No one can have played all the "classics".

I am playing that version, yes. So far (3 hours or so) so good.

It's ok man, my playthrough 2 months ago, was my first playthrough. I don't think I even started it or tried to play it before then. :P

haha I'm not busting you or anything, there's still dozens of games I need to get under my belt too. I'm just surprised the joke wasn't spoiled for you via random talk on the internet and such. Must have been pretty funny for you since it came outta nowhere like that. I love how in every re-release of the game they keep that line. Sometimes silly translated scripts are just magical.
