My poor child has been humming the basic tune of
Work This Body for several days straight. It’s a great song. I love the entire album to pieces. But the basic tune of that song hummed by a young child on repeat (and inconsistently out of tune) is enough to drive one mad.

Currently listening to a handful of
Militia Vox tracks. If you're a metalhead give her a listen.

Been really into BLU-SWING the past week or two. Funky, jazzy, upbeat Japanese band. The song "
Sunset" is what got me into them. Good stuff!

Listening to a playlist of DuskTillShawn talking about The Dark Side of Hey Arnold, a series of video essays about what the title suggests. I listened to the first episode yesterday and today I listened to the Helga and Harold episodes. Now I'm on the Eugene episode.

Neco-Arc AI CoversI went through a lot of them on YouTube and extracted the music for ones that turned out particularly well - many were badly made or otherwise turned out poorly.
Neco-Arc is a gimmick character in the fighting game series Melty Blood by Arc System Works. A small cat spirit made in a parody of Arcueid from Arc System Works' Visual Novel Tsukihime. She is sort of an unofficial mascot for the company.
Someone trained an AI voice model with her various vocalizations, and growls in-game. Because of the growling, the AI voice model does really well with aggressive vocals. People have been using the AI model to replace the vocals in various songs. I'm amazed how well some of them turned out. Especially genres with lots of vocal fry or different accents. Sort of like Alvin & the Chipmunks, but with inhuman vocal range capabilities.
I'm tempted to try making a couple of songs myself. In particular
Ghost City Tokyo, or maybe the
Ayase self-cover would turn out better.
I'd also like to hear how some Megumi Hayashibara songs sound.
edit: This seems to be pretty easy. LALAL.AI is exceptional at splitting vocals and music. It's all AI throughout?
