Somehow Tokyo Mirage Sessions is even more Japanese than Persona is I'm not sure how they pulled that off.

A group of people created a patch for the electronic version of TMS that undoes most of the changes made for the US version. More information can be found here.

I'm digging things so far. The battle system is a new take on the standard SMT "exploit weakness" system where you equip chaining skills to your teammates; one might be Sword-Lance which triggers on an ally Sword attack and has you make a Lance attack (triggers if you hit weakness). The cool thing is that these will chain; if my third partner had a Lance-Fire chain skill then he'd follow up the Lance hit with his Fire hit. And I just unlocked a passive skill that, if I'm reading the description right, causes chains that trigger after an enemy dies to be retargeted to the next enemy while still being in a state of ignoring enemy elemental defenses.

Story-wise it looks like it's going to lean heavily on the idol culture. Since I'm a huge fan of Skip Beat this is right up my alley.

So I'm toying with the thought of going after a complete retail set of Wii U games. I have 50+ of the currently 140+ games that currently exist. With my GameCube collection down to only a handful of games wanted and the Wii, still going strong, getting closer I find myself grabbing more Wii U then anything else. Part of me has always wanted to try for a complete set of something but there is also a bunch of shovelware, not nearly as much as the Wii, but a smaller percentage due to a much smaller library.

Anyone able to back me off the cliff or give me a big shove overboard? Currently I have about 20 more games I want, some of which aren't out yet, but I don't think it would be hard to get myself to go all the way. Other then Devil's Third and the Wind Waker and Rodea LE's, which I want to get anyway, I have all of the more expensive stuff though I'm not going after the World of Nintendo store exclusives.
Do it!

If I wasn't going on my crazy NES quest, I'd strongly consider it. Great, underappreciated system. People compare it disparagingly to the WiiU, but that's another great, underappreciated system in my eyes. I don't think you'll regret it.

But yeah, stick to fully-retail releases IMO. World of Nintendo Store only kinda-counts, at best.

Pokken Tournament and Hyrule Warriors, and! we can't leave out Xenoblade Chronicles X!

I cycle through these daily and I love all of them! I am pretty sure they are all Wii exclusives (Tell me if I am wrong :D).

Hyrule Warriors is now also on the 3DS as Hyrule Warriors Legends. All three games you listed though are a lot of fun though.

Those Nintendo Store exclusives are Hyrule Warriors in a big box with scarf and Mario Kart 8 in big box with a blue turtle shell mini-statue. They go for around $600 or so and I'm not dropping that kind of money on those items.

Otherwise some of the more difficult games to find at a decent price will be Hello Kitty Kruisers, Funky Barn, and Brunswick Pro Bowling.

Lastly do I need to grab both New Super Mario Bros and New Luigi Bros plus the combo pack to count as having a full retail set or is one of them ok? Same with Wind Waker and Rodea. Do I need both copies of each game?I'd like to find Ducktales: Remastered with the pin and apparently there are three different versions of Splinter Cell. I don't really want one let alone all three.

No one can answer the "does XXX count" questions but you. It will always be somewhat subjective to a point.
