Polygon also wrote a glowing review:

I might have to bump it up in my queue. There's just too many games I want to play right now. And I don't yet have enough money to just quit my job and work on my backlog full time.

No joke, I had a co-worker who actually did that. He saved up enough cash to live five years without needing a job, then he quit earlier this year. For the past few months he's done nothing but stay home and play games all day every day.

The problem with that strategy is you need to go back and get a job again, only now you have to deal with explaining in interviews why you have a gap in employment and why your skills are out of date. My goal is full on retirement as early as I can swing it.

Pretty sure she doesn't look like that in the English release - Nintendo wouldn't want us to get too excited.

This is just one example of localization to make the game better suited for our market. Some are less noticeable, others represent a bigger cosmetic change. None are a big deal but many seem completely unnecessary for a T-rated game.

So he's clearly single. (Not saying he was necessarily single when he made that choice, but he must be by now.)

MrPopo speaks a lot of sense. I have a significant backlog, but consider it my retirement party.

For the record; I don't agree with censorship on principle, and I definitely don't agree with what was done to this game for the western market release. I also am tired of Nintendo's double standard about what they allow in Japanese games versus USA games. But that's a tired debate around here, so I won't rub salt in it.

Hmm, not sure. He had a girlfriend when he quit a few months back and started on this gaming crusade of his. I don't know if he still has a girlfriend now though.

On the flip side we have the new art for the Langrisser remake on the DS, where the three kingdoms have been at war so long there is a critical shortage pants, leaving females to have to make do with what can be generously called thongs. Even though the rest of them might be reasonably covered.

I think it's just a reflection of different cultures, and what is acceptable. In the end, it's a business decision, nothing more. Maximize that profit! :)

Agreed. I think people make too much of this. These are simple business decisions.

Link can run around bare-chested and shirtless in BotW, but no pantsu allowed in Tokyo Mirage Sessions? OK Nintendo.

Censorship might be a business decision, but it's not one I support. Especially when it's mired in hypocrisy.
