:D Had a lot of fun hanging out with my FCA group at my buddies house. We played games, talked, ate, all that good stuff.

 My buddies older sister was home from school. I avoided looking at her and attempted to keep from seeming in any way interested. (FYI, a case of me foolishly liking an older girl, which has happened more times than I'd like.)

:x = the fishing trip lasted way too short due to one of my mom's friends needed to get her car back from my uncle, even though the fish were biting like hell.
Whereabouts on the Susquehanna were you at?

Closest place for me is Wrightsville.
I fished just right under the bridge near City Island yesterday.

Frown

So I drove out to NYC with my dad and my brother to help my sister move from SoHo to Harlem.

We got here and she had absolutely nothing packed. We had to pack all of her stuff for her and get it across town. That is what my last five days have been. I got to wander around SoHo yesterday and guess what I kind of hate SoHo.

The one smile I have is I ran into my friend Ashley from Minneapolis who was in town after she got done painting some graffiti in something called the freedom tunnels that is a block away from my sisters place in Harlem. So I got to wander around and drink some beer with her which was fun.

Smaller frown: I haven't been able to get ahold of any of my friends that live here in NY which sucks because they all live in Brooklyn and I wanted to have a reason to get the hell away from Manhattan.

 Trying to get Mars Matrix for Dreamcast in time for November for a decent price is starting to look very difficult. Lost an auction for a complete copy just now.

:D =Just came back to the same exact spot I the Susquehanna River fishing for smallmouth bass again today. Caught 3 of them around 11-13 inches but despite their size, they fought like HELL; one of them almost got hung up on the branches but I managed to land that one!!

:( = none lol. :P

Smile: Pulled Jace, Mind Scupt, Divination, and Index in my two packs of round 1 mini master.

Frown: With that nuts I still lose and can't find Jace.

Double frown: Every other event all weekend I run into someone with a Jace who DOES get him out.

Smile: made it to Guadalupe Peak. The view was spectacular! Perfect weather, too.

Frown: I feel like I'm going to die now.

:x :( : My day (or night, rather) on the job. I got more freight to work through than usual, yet it only looked like a slightly larger than normal amount if you just looked at the size and number of pallets. One of the pallets was full of candles and picture frames, which (at least at my store) takes a really long time to work. At 4:00 AM, the managers called everyone out to the parking lot to collect the carts up because apparently they didn't have any cart pushers on the clock at the moment and the job still needed doing. That's way out of the usual, and cost me more time away from my work. Then I was sent some help at about 5:40 since I was obviously not going to finish my work on time, but get this: they sent me someone who was scheduled to clock out at 6:00. Meaning, she was only able to get through a few boxes before splitting. So when I left at 7:00 I had more unfinished work brought back to the backroom than possibly everyone else combined, which as you can imagine makes me look great to my managers. Ah, the joys of being responsible for stocking three departments alone. And the corporate offices tell us the store is overstaffed, as if.

On top of that, I went home feeling bad because I told a co-worker that I'd give him a ride home, but I left without him because I couldn't find him when it was time to go. He's an idiotic manchild who spends his money on crap like a new phone so he can get rid of his less-featured but still fully functioning phone instead of saving up for a car which he actually needs, but still. I told him I'd help out and I didn't.

Neutral: I now know the meaning of TGIF. I thought I did before, but I didn't. Today's my Friday, since I have Mondays and Tuesdays off.

Bad form, BoringSoup. You mentioned his cell phone, did you not try to call him?

Smile: Labor Day!!! Day off! Fun! Yard work! Grilling out! Game of catch with the wife! Play with the dog outside! Hang out with friends and smoke cigars on the deck! Maybe a game of wiffle ball at the diamond!

Frown: It's raining cats and dogs, and will be the rest of the day.

Smile: Fun! House work! Cooking in! Maybe play Mario Super Superstar Baseball! Play hide and go seek with the dog inside! Let my friends smoke their reefer on the third floor! Maybe a game of darts in the game room!

I adjust and adapt well.
