Of course that's what Walt was doing. Whether Skyler knew or not, I'm not positive, but I'm leaning towards yes. If she didn't on the phone, she'll realize it when she gets Holly back.

I don't think there's any question that he was doing exactly that or that she figured it out.
I wasn't entirely sure, but I did think it was very out of character for Walt to lash out at her like that. I'm glad to have that clarified. It makes sense that he was playing the Heisenberg role for her benefit. I don't know if that will make her think any better of him though, and I feel like Jr. probably hates him now

This week was a real gut wrencher, especially the moments where Walt finally tied everything up with Jesse concerning Jane and seeing everything finally hit the fan after such an intense buildup over the years.

Weirdly enough though the whole flashback sequence at the start of the episode really made me double take at just hot much older and fatter in the face Cranston and Paul respectively have gotten.

Episode 9 showed a lot of what was going to happen anyway. The abandoned house, and the neighbour being struck at seeing Walter. What was he back for? The poison? Seems he is planning on using it on somebody. Maybe himself?

So how do you Game of Thrones fans think this Breaking Bad episode compares to that shocking,
"The Red Wedding"
episode from last season?

Both among the most shocking and disturbing hours of TV I've ever seen.

I am not sure if I have dead feelings but I wasn't upset (Actually impressed) by the 2 scenes.
The Red Wedding, the Starks die but they are not main characters. Everyone was going crazy in the media I thought Khaleesi or The Lannisters were executed . All the Starks that are dead don't matter really to the main plot and to be honest I think they are the weakest group fighting for the Iron Throne. Plus they are survived by the little sister which will obviousely come back later in season 9 ( :P ) to get back at them.

As for the DEA officers, well...the show is almost over some one might as well die. Both characters are not important or attached to by the fans. Hank is a police officer that sticks his nose , alone, into drug dealing business what do you expect to happen for him? I believe he deserves what he got because he just won't let it go.

It would have been a shocker if Pinkman or Walter were killed, or if Walter's family was killed by Pinkman.
Also Walter was very aware of the police on the phone. At first I thought the writers just stopped caring by the end of this season so they are putting anything together. Obviously Walter was out of character, he heard his son call 911 yet he still asks if the police is still there, his wife that slashed his hand was talking nicely again to him which should have aroused some questions. Then when I saw the baby in the firetruck I got it that he played them to take the blame off his family.

I thought the writers were ending the story by turning Walter into the "evil drug dealer" character because that is eventually where every one is going to end if you start working your way in this business in baby steps. I though he finally snapped, he was trying to be nice to everyone, but everyone he was nice to, was hurting him as much as they can including his family which he did all of this to help them, his brother-in-law who he saved and paid for his bills, Marie which I think deep down she is just jealous, and Jesse Pinkman is probably the worst of the bunch which literally could have killed Walter many times. In fact, I think all the trouble Walter is in now is because he cared for Pinkman. I think this is the point of this whole show, it is the irony of how the drug dealer is really the nice guy out of all the "good citizens" .

Also, there can be no real life character like Walter. No one can take so much hurt and pain from people yet he will only repay them by saving their lives and hurting himself even more. There are limits to everything.

I would like to add that Skyler is the bad person in this marriage. Honestly, would you like to have a drug dealing spouse or a spouse that has an affair with his/her boss?

Right, because Walter never did anything worse than selling drugs....

This show is dizzying.

Last week's show is still THE SHOW in this end run, but tonight's episode was pretty stellar in its own right. If last week stabbed Walt in the heart, this week twisted the knife. Same with Jesse. These two are coming to the same end, the question is still at whose hands (including, possibly, their own)?

And fuck was that scene in the nursery terrifying.

I have no idea if Walt will live or die by the end of the finale, but my guess is that Walt and Jesse both wont die. One of them will live. That is my guess, at least.
