Re: Do You Have Any Unpopular Gaming Opinions?
Pretty sure most gamers are not too keen on board games/Casino games, but i find them to very fun.
I have all the monopoly game since nes to current gen. Currently looking to get Fortune Street for the Wii as well as the new Monopoly game for the Switch. Any thought on that game?

From what I read a good touch on it Nintendolife did but the scoring number should be ignored because they dude isn't a fan of stuff like that so he gave it a 5. If you read the review though it's positive as it mirrors the board game as it should plus has some nice options on how to setup various customizations (such as all collected monies by the game pay to the dude who hits free parking) and read the comments by users below as someone points out a nice feature(forget what it was) that was left out by the reviewer. It looks like an excellent rendition, accurate by all accounts, and even allows for lots of those tweaks many play by the older 20th century Monopoly video games exclude as choices (like the free parking payout.)

Fortune Street is an absolutely amazing game, especially if you like Monopoly along with Dragon Quest characters.AznKhmerBoi wrote:Currently looking to get Fortune Street for the Wii... Any thought on that game?
On the harder levels, the computer cheats like hell. But, with sound investments and the correct money management skills, you should get out on top. However, the best part is multiplayer as adding more people is always a blast.
But, yes, I highly recommend Fortune Street on the Wii. It's one of the games I play with my friend all of the time.

Monopoly on the Switch apparently has problems with excruciatingly long load times that makes it borderline unplayable. If you google it, some people have reported loading times that have lasted between 5 and 10 minutes. They're apparently fixing it, so I'd wait for a patch.
Own: Mega Drive, Saturn, Dreamcast, Playstation 1, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, PS Vita, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Wii U, Game Boy Advance, DS, 3DS, Switch, Switch 2, Xbox, Xbox 360

Its shame that games like that are usually buggy messes. I like trivia games and if there was a good digital one to play alone i would get it but only people who makes showelware garbage are the ones that usually do that sort of games. Game like that shouldn't take much money to make so i don't really get why there's barely any games like that. I never played Buzz but Sony should resurrect that series.

From what I've seen, they did fix it, but it requires fully power cycling the system, which most people don't do. Or maybe that turned out not to be the full fix?Reprise wrote:Monopoly on the Switch apparently has problems with excruciatingly long load times that makes it borderline unplayable. That is, in fact, a fix.isiolia wrote:From what I've seen, they did fix it, but it requires fully power cycling the system, which most people don't do. It's the download version only from what I've read. If you buy the real game at retail it's fine.Reprise wrote:Monopoly on the Switch apparently has problems with excruciatingly long load times that makes it borderline unplayable. Those of you who love Fortune Street, and want more Fortune Street, might enjoy playing the Dragon Quest X Final Fantasy version that came out for the PSP. It never had an official English release, but it was English fan translated. If you don't have a PSP, there's a great PSP emulator for Windows and Android you can play it with.
