I voted Maybe when this thread started and have since bought one. Just makes me chuckle.

I voted for "not interest," and I'm still not.Reprise wrote:I know, right? I voted "undecided" and I bought one at launchStark wrote:I love that this thread has a voting thing on it that you can't change.

I could have sworn that I saw a video and it was clearly stated that traditional controls can be used if you don't wish to use the dual screen gamepad thing.
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
I clearly should have voted this way, as I've barely touched my WiiU. I occasionally load up Mario Kart 8 when I've got people over and just end up thinking, why did I buy this?noiseredux wrote:I voted for "not interest," and I'm still not.
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

No worries. That version with Star Fox Guard is limited though (probably really limited, as is usual with Nintendo), so if you want it, you may want to be quick.prfsnl_gmr wrote:Thanks for the heads up. I plan on picking the game up at some point, and I would like to the version that includes Star Fox Guard. (I still haven't gotten around to picking up Star Fox Command, however; so, it may be a while.Reprise wrote:Like I said earlier, I got my copy of the game. I can confirm (at least initially - I might feel differently after more play time), the controls are awkward and you spend half of the time looking at the gamepad screen and swapping between the two screens (and it is awkward).)
I can't believe I thought it was a Bayonetta type deal and all copies came with Star Fox Guard
Why? Do you hate fun?noiseredux wrote: I voted for "not interest," and I'm still not.

What the Ars review said is that you can switch to have the gyro movement on only when firing the lasers, but that means you're still using it most of the time.Ziggy587 wrote:I could have sworn that I saw a video and it was clearly stated that traditional controls can be used if you don't wish to use the dual screen gamepad thing.
I put down "maybe later" on the poll, and got one years ago. I've only heavily played a few games for it, but I've bought a decent chunk more (still I think more than I have for my PS4 and definitely more than Xbox One).
I just have enjoyed it -far- more when it's standard Nintendo stuff in HD.

Of the three the PS4 is where I've spent the majority of my time, and that's because Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3. But combined they are less than I've spent on my 3DS, and far less than PC.Stark wrote:I clearly should have voted this way, as I've barely touched my WiiU. Dang, not sure what to think of Star Fox Zero from what you guys are saying, from what I'm reading, and the launch trailer was very awkward.
I figured it shouldn't warrant a $60 price tag though, yikes.

I thought all of the original Star Fox Zero retail games came with Star Fox Guard. I pre-ordered mine from GameStop which shows the bonus game. Will I get Star Fox Guard? I don't want to pay $55 if I'm not.

It might depend on country. I thought the same, but here in the UK, the Star Fox Guard bundle is exclusive to GAME. Maybe check the description and do a google to see what the deal is in North America.jmbarnes101 wrote:I thought all of the original Star Fox Zero retail games came with Star Fox Guard.
