However the Game Gear Fantasy Zone has auto as it's own powerup. So I do think that should be played normal.

True...Fantasy Zone Gear is an awful game, though, and no one should play it! (I’m a huge fan of the series, but autofire may be that game’s only redeeming quality.)

As of fan of both the portable and the series, I just can't dislike it.
Plus, there are so few Game Gear reviews out there that I had no idea it was considered a stinker.

Well, like a million other games, I haven't played to far into Fantasy Zone GG, but gonna hafta next time I have pepper access to it.
