 I have been judged.

My reasonings: Exhumed is probably the best FPS on the saturn. It's a pretty shallow pool but you work with what you've got.

Otogi 2 is like From Software's THX 1138 to its Souls series Star Wars. Older, rougher but no less visionary. Also a Xbox exclusive that was impossible to replicate on PS2/GC. And I've beat Ninja Gaiden so it's on the list.

Golvellius is better than Golden Axe Warrior according to Game Sack. That's all I need to know. (Might still swap it out though).

I don't deny that these are reasonably decent games (they seem to be in the 7/10 range mostly in aggregate), but I do think they are fairly tenuous choices as "classics" though. There are, for example, much more highly regarded games in each of those genres on each of those systems. I doubt that most of the general game-buying public - nor even some of the membership here - has heard of these three, or was well aware of them at the time they were new (none were especially big sellers, either).

Just a head's up: the wall of shame is going to be updated between now and tomorrow

True, but I've played those games. This thread is for the ones you haven't played.

I didn't notice Golvellius on your list until now. I played some of the game earlier this year and enjoyed it quite a bit. Unfortunately I messed up while recording a password about 2/3 of the way through and thus couldn't continue my game. Someday I'll fire it back up. It's a lot like The Guardian Legend with alternating exploration and action sequences.
Yeah, I only had five games to start with but I've already knocked three out so I've added the rest even though I expect Skies of Arcadia to take the longest to beat.

To be honest, Golvellius might not stay on the list. The bit I played of it didn't really impress me. However, I do want a Master System game so we will see.
Perhaps you could play the Master System version of Ys?

For the record, I've always considered Golvellius to be a classic. It's pretty well-known to SMS gamers and I think of it as the SMS "counterpart" to The Guardian Legend (which is definitely a classic).

I will relish it. I was prepared to give up Golvellius but now I'm going to play the shit out of it!

@Bone: Can't afford it and it's an inferior port from what I hear. I'll stick with PC.
