Not sure on the carts. You can always google the numbers on them.

Hey so I've got a copy of the DS Card Fighters sequel on its way to me. I'll let you know what I think.

Thanks for the tip:

Looks like they are the EU versions from the codes and what I can match up on GAMEFAQS :D

Happy to say I beat the Cacpcom version of Cardfighters Clash tonight.

It only took me two tries to win the final match!

With his first play he drew Krauser 1500bp, luckily I had Chun-Li and her spinning bird kick to instantly knock that card down to a meagre 100bp.

This became my tactic in a short match, I used cards to drain his hand down to low BP without ever polishing them off while using awakening to power up Morrigan.

While he was stuck with a 100bp, 200bp and 400bp hand I refused to kill anymore of his cards, effectively leaving him lumbered with a super weak attack. He suicidally threw everything at me and so absorbing the full weight of his meagre attack I then played all three of my cards to finish him off in just a handful of moves.

This is definitely the tactic to go for if you are looking to beat the top guys in this game. They will always draw high BP cards of 1000 or more so the key is to leave them unable to play these cards by wounding but not finishing off the cards they have in their hand.

Chun-Li is a great card to have for this. Guile is also useful as he neuters all special moves when he's in your hand so the enemy can't spam those either.

Anyway, you can play on post-game but I think I'll move on to Bio-Motor Unitron now and
return to the card clash when I eventually pick up the SNK version.

Fantastic game, worth owning the NGPC for.

I haven't bit yet - i'm hoping / assuming an AES release will follow. Have you heard?

also, LOL at "August 2014", unless they've managed to keep a total lid on this project and production.

My XYX was shipping in May 2014...which came and went, of course. They had already said LHPB AES would be "fall 2014", so squeezing this in before that seems a bit optimistic.

The game itself looks better than Last Hope, a bit more vibrant, cooler boss fights, etc.

I will admit this looks not to bad. A terminator is a boss!!!! I did not really care to much for LHPB (don't like the rotating orb) and Fast Striker was just OK after the newness wore off. The thing about Fast Striker was the damn backgrounds for the first 4 or so stages was just a bunch of the same to me. I never did try Neo XYX.

Do they mention a DC version on the site? I'm assuming it will happen. As much as I'd love a Neo Geo version on my shelf, getting a perfectly fine DC port for 10% of the price is the route I'll take..
