Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Are the Darksiders games good? I heard they were Zelda-ish, which has me intrigued. I purchased the first one for Xbox 360 today. I noticed that the second one is available on Wii U, so I'll definitely go for that port if I enjoy the first game.

The first one is excellent. Intriguing over-the-top story, Zelda+God of War game play. Recommended.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Are the Darksiders games good? In all seriousness, the Trine games are where it's at for modern Lost Vikings-esque action platformer puzzle solving. They are also extremely beautiful games with fun physics systems in tow. I finished both games co-op with two other people and it was a blast.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

YES! The Darksiders games are awesome. I LOVED the first (it was my favorite game of 2010....even over RDR). The second game was good, but not as good as the first one, IMO.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Are the Darksiders games good? I heard they were Zelda-ish, which has me intrigued. Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I have a question for you guys.
I'm selling some of my saturns.
And I found one that can play with the disc tray open.
I take it, its a model 1, since it has the oval buttons.
In this day and age is it worth it to keep this? It seems to work okay. I kinda suck at burning. I can do PSone games fine, but I dont really want to attempt saturn games. But I'm too lazy to do region changing stuff, let alone doing the swap trick.
I hear that swap tricks kill the motor and lazer. I already have plenty of saturns. I would rather get a JP saturn first before burning discs and making coasters out of them.
thoughts please, or just some random gaming thoughts.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I'm kind of blown away by the replies above. I thought the first was -awful-. Did you guys above play this game anytime recently? I tried playing the first for the first time earlier this year, and it hasn't aged well in any regard. Went for the highest difficulty too since I heard they're really easy, and that didn't make it any more fun or anything. The combat was really dull and extremely repetitive, just something about it wasn't rewarding at all. The jump attack to kill the flying bat things was so annoying. etcBoneSnapDeez wrote:Are the Darksiders games good? I heard they were Zelda-ish, which has me intrigued. Good luck dude. lol

Darksiders 2 is fantastic but avoid the Wii U version. Likes to freeze, screen tear, and just generally isn't as good as the 360 version.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Are the Darksiders games good? I got about halfway through it before I got to one of the many game-breaking bugs in that version.
Older. Not wiser.
