Unless you want the worst ending and a seriously frustrating final boss fight and everyone betrays you. Use them and get on everyone's good side. Otherwise in the final battle you will be fucked sideways. Final boss with no friends is about as fun as playing Ninja Gaiden with a U Force.Exhuminator wrote:I put 2.5 hours into Binary Domain in my first playthrough. It's fun so far, although a bit of a cakewalk on normal difficulty. Maybe it'll get harder. I'm rocking Faye and Rachael as my sidekicks. I'm also not using the voice commands.

I, too, enjoyed the first Mario Galaxy more than the second, though that seems to be a minority opinion from my experience.Exhuminator wrote:I guess I just don't find SMG2 to be as engaging as SMG1.

I also thought I should've played through on hard once I was a good few hours in. It was SO satisfying to be tough enough to just run into a bunch of robots and start taking them to pieces though, so it wasn't ALL bad X3Exhuminator wrote:I put 2.5 hours into Binary Domain in my first playthrough. Re: What are you playing?
I started Beyond Good & Evil on the Microsoft XBOX this afternoon!
I am fairly excited to play this game as I have heard nothing but praise for the game. It is a game I have wanted to play for a while. The mixture of combat, stealth and picture taking is very intriguing and I have heard the story is rather unique.
Much like Prince of Persia, Ubisoft was rather good during this generation, so I am expecting some big things for the game.

Right now im playing Chrono Trigger and the first Zone of Enders. Ive heard to much about both games over the years to continue with anything else. I have to say Chrono is both nostalgic and refreshing.

Whoo, Outlast II is done. Review incoming tomorrow morning. I'll probably play Pikmin next, but I'm not 100% decided yet.

I fired up Marvelous: Another Treasure Island. It's fun, and I'm playing with the translation patch, but I'm having issues with the music cutting out frequently on my Retron5.
Anyone else got this game and encountered the same thing?

Re: What are you playing?
You could try patching your cart with a full translated ROM (instead of a traditional IPS translation patch). Just an idea, no guarantees!

Try playing the game in the bsnes / higan emulator (because of its accuracy). If the problem is there too, then you know it's not the Retron5. And vice versa. Else, someone can load it up on a flash cart for you and see what happens in order to make the same determination.
