And no maintenance crew, no lawn crew, but having to worry about the roof, the ac/heating units, replacing carpets, having to deal with shitty neighbors and not being able to call a landlord to deal with it (won't happen for me, just sayin'), paying for the house to be pressure washed, paying more on taxes, home owners insurance, property taxes, and the refurbishing! Home ownership is awesome, don't get me wrong, but the work NEVER ends. I mow, the grass is tall in three days. I mulch, but still need to weed. Trim the hedges, edge. Update the bathroom. Clean the windows. Remove the hornet's nest. Brush of the cobwebs outside the house. Better re-seal and stain the deck. While I'm re-staining the deck, might as well re-stain the fence.
Just know that when you buy the Ponderosa, you have to take care of the ranch.
