That's just the problem for me. It's so slow and I have trouble telling what is what. It's a rare case of the graphics affecting the gameplay for me. A good comparison would be an open world game racing game where you can't see 10 meters past your car.Retrogamer0001 wrote:Gameplay man, gameplay. Ok, I didn't like Super Double Dragon all that much either. But I'm still a valued member here

Super Double Dragon is an unfinished mess. I thought so long before learning that it actually is an unfinished mess.
I have mixed feelings about Yoshi's Island. Even though platformers are one of my favorite genres I don't think I ever completed it.

And I completely disagree and would say I enjoyed Super Mario RPG more. But to each their own.alienjesus wrote:ZeroAX wrote:The original, SF 64 or both? The original StarFox is the best Starfox, and one of the best games on SNES.
Also, if we are back on confessions, I've never played Super Double Dragon, though I have beaten Double Dragon V. And I think Donkey Kong Country 3 is superior to Donkey Kong Country but not necessarily Donkey Kong Country 2. I think DKC2 and DKC3 are both excellent but think DKC2 just edges it out a little.

I don't like DKC at all honestly and I think the digitized graphics trend was the worst thing to happen to 2D gaming.
I'm so-so about DKC 2 but it doesn't excite me much. It's the only one I physically own today. I never tried DKC 3 because my interest in the series is low to begin with and a lot of people speak negatively of it. Maybe someday.

To be fair it's such a huge game that it overstays its welcome. Not only are there a shit ton of levels in this game, each one lasts forever too, specially after the first world. It's not bad mind you for people who enjoy it so much they want to beat it, but I can see why many people wouldn't have gotten to the end.Gunstar Green wrote: I have mixed feelings about Yoshi's Island. Just beat the first boss in Robotrek today and I have to say, this game is really quite good. Not only is the gameplay solid, but there is a lot of humor involved too. For example, in the first town there is someone who lives in "Coker's House" who "doesn't care if he has a problem"

I'm glad you like it. You will love the ending of the game, it's so surreal.Retrogamer0001 wrote:Just beat the first boss in Robotrek today and I have to say, this game is really quite good.
