Installed the GameCube on/off for the Unity system. Tight fit.

Forgot two last things I need to use my soldering iron for - the switch for when playing GBA games so it boots properly (ie extra grounding connection), and also connect the two fans to power. Job for tomorrow.

Pics look bad, that happens when I take photos in my project room at night.

Leaving the button grey so it has contrast. Going to make a washer the size of the GameCube button, and paint it the colour of the case, the hole made was pretty good considering it was made after the button holder had been superglued into place on the other side, however I want this to look better, so a painted washer will do that.

Done the top piece (not secured) and the left side (secured); need to remake the right side as wasn't quite good enough, back looks fine (not mounted yet).

Teaser pic - proportions look off of course as took pic close to unit, but you get the idea - and also the new font...

That's one sexy machine, even if "this isn't even it's final form".
Can't wait to see the completed pictures. :D

The side in the pic, and front are final and complete, the other sides are being finished.

Spent many hours on this, but the video will be soon ready to release. I have made lots of pictures for the presentation, compiled them, done all the graphics, audio clips, voice-overs and got it all done, apart from putting the Project Unity system into its final resting place and taking a video for demonstration, which will need to be edited of course to remove "the boring bits". I should have that done tomorrow. I won't release the presentation though on YouTube or here though at that stage as I need to make updates to the main site, to present it properly, for new visitors to see. Then I can post pics and the video. Got everything apart from final demo into a video that's just under nine and a half minutes long, so the final video will probably be around 20 minutes or thereabouts, long enough to maintain interest but also not too short as to compromise what is being relayed. I had spent quite a long time doing the wording for the voice-over to try and get all points covered concisely, also took several re-records to get each voice clip as good as I could make it.

All exciting stuff.

This is by far the best video presentation I have ever done and by far the best quality too. I am sure you guys will enjoy it.

Not long now. ETA ... Friday - Monday is realistic.

Ok, took final pics, and just managed to get the Project Unity system in the space in the cabinet I had, probably had no more than 2mm clearance, that tight!

Turned my television on, booted up to Sky as normal, then switched on the Unity system with a SNES game, and it worked immediately!

I will do a demo video tomorrow, in which case Friday looks like it might be launch day! Yay!

Done and finished.

I have started a new topic to cover the system properly, as posting in this thread would get lost in the mounds of posts!

Maybe just put the Full Review in the OP and rename it? This way the history of the build is all in the same Thread.
