I agree, I think everyone's gotten their respective arguments across on this one.

Unpopular Opinion:

Cyborg Justice rocks.

I am with you!!!! The controls are janky and jumping is doubly so, but nothing felt more fulfilling then ripping a person's torso off and chucking it at other robots. Had that game as a kid and mastered it... probably couldn't do so now.

I will repeat what I said earlier since it got lost in pages of nonsense.

I like Other M.
Streets of Rage 3 is still fun.
Pokken as a total package is a danr good game and more enjoyable than SFV as a whole.
Ico is a bad platforming game. rain,Lost in Shadow,Brothers a Take of Two Sons,Majin & the Forsaken Kingdom were far more enjoyable.

Strider 2014 is the best in the series. Strider 2 is very close and S2 has better music but 2014 is a longer game and controls a bit better.

In every way except story & music XCX is a better game than the first.
XCX had a great OST. Only the LA theme sucked.

I dislike the Ys 7 formula in current Ys games. I like the games because Ys but they feel a bit more shallow somehow. They have a cheap feel. I want Adol in his old armor.

I've preached Majin for a while now, it's a great game.

Really enjoyed Strider 2014.

Love Ys Seven, not as keen on Celceta.

I haven't tried Strider 2014 because I'm not a big fan of Strider to begin with. I don't remember what I read that turned me off of it.

I don't think Streets of Rage 3 is bad either but Bare Knuckle 3 is better balanced. Some of the changes they made in localization are puzzling.

Yeah, I never understood that one. I mean, why take the time and go to the effort to alter the game balance at all? Why not translate the text and ship the game?
Have: Sega Genesis, SNES, Atari 2600, Atari 7800, Atari 800XL, PC, N3DS XL, Wii U, GBA, Xbox One, Switch

Majin is so damn awesome. It's a game form the now sadly defunct Game Republic. Makers of Genji and Folklore. Easily one of my fave 7th gen games.

I've done all of that stuff in real life. Beating Demon's Souls was harder.

Anyway, I agree with those who said this conversation about "easy modes" is going nowhere. We all know where everybody stands on the issue now. Nobody seemed to change their initial mindset despite pages of debate.

All of Activision's best games are on Atari. They went from god-tier developer to shit publisher.

They might be shit publisher now but they weren't on the 90's and early 2000's. They released bunch of good games like Mechwarrior, Hexen 2, Heretic 2 Battlezone, Soldier Of Fortune, Vampire: The Masquerade, Return to Castle Wolfenstein and others. It's really after Call Of Duty when Actision starts to rot and it's still not all bad even after that.
