VGA is a different type of signal from component. Just a cable won't work.
Remember not all games support VGA. For that reason, there isn't yet a widely accepted all in one Dreamcast component solution.

Thanks for the tips. I guess that means I need something powered/with some kind of processor in it if I want to go the conversion route.

I don't have any experience with the site per se. But those cables look awfully a lot like the recent chinese knock offs that have been starting to pop up as of late. The design looks reminicent of Cabou's VGA cables from France. He is a personal aquaintance and a real Dreamcast fan. Check out his stuff out. Its high quality.chris1138 wrote:Does anyone have any experience with this cable or from ordering from this site?

Would anyone happen to know if the NTSC region of San Francisco Rush 2049 supports VGA? Checking the compatibility list: http://www.epforums.org/showthread.php? ... -amp-Guide, doesn't seem to. I sure hope it does, been investing into getting Dreamcast games I never had back then.
Re: DREAMCAST VGA QUESTIONS! come here for everything VGA w/
It should support VGA. At the very least it can be tricked to run in Hi Res VGA mode.

Yes. NTSC Rush 2049 is definitely VGA compatible. I don't know what that compatibility list is talking about. It has NTSC region Soul Calibur listed the same way...

Awesome! I'm so happy it is, hopefully in the near future I'll have San Francisco Rush 2049. Thanks for the reply Chris, as well as CD AGES!ChrisHaha2049 wrote:Yes.
