I'm all for "no-origin" movies, but the DC folks are going to have to find some incredibly inventive way to introduce new characters in such a short time frame.

And by establish, I'm talking about on film, and no way is Bale or whoever played Kal-el in SR will be associated with this film.

While I really like a lot of the Marvel characters, I grew up on DC and it's just sad how the DC flicks are just no where as good as the Marvel ones; new Batman trilogy excluded.

I hate when you ask for a large soda and you get 2/3s ice.

I always ask for no ice. But even at home, I avoid using ice cubes.

It could be worse. George Miller of Happy Feet and Neverending Story 2, had a script out for JLA. It is possible that someone might pick it up though.

I respect that man. You must need to be incredibly smart to make someone pay you for that bullshit.

In that regard the best Hollywood minds worked on Happy Feet.

Damn, I can't get the idea of Penguins dancing to Rap out of my head. It's totally obvious how someone up there decided that tap dancing wasn't cool enough so they chose rap.

Do or do not, there is no try.

Is your wife taking pre-natal vitamins? I tell my wife they're a rip off, so far I'm right. My wife also takes her temperature every morning and has a check sheet of when we had coitus (there's no option to check one day more than once; bullshit).

The entire, "this is a cgi moie" and then actual humans show up was so weird to me. Creeps me out.
