I don't want to spend that kind of money for games that I have on other ports on other systems. Would be cool but 79.99 is a lot for games I might not want to play
Keep an eye, maybe you might eventually spot one on the cheap. I bought one "untested" knowing the older non disc drive gear tends to hold up better. The 3rd party video cables are inexpensive.

Shadow Squadron exclusive is the reason why I bought the 32x, so much better then 32x Star Wars.

I haven't played Shadow Squadron, but I LOVE Star Wars Arcade on Sega 32x. If you say that Shadow Squadron is even better, I definitely need to put that on my to-get list.

I've got to ask the Sega fans here, being as objective as possible, I was curious what you're feelings are on the Street Fighter II CE game on the Genesis?

I'm lazy as hell, found one last weekend for a dollar in the box without the manual but have yet to fire it up as I've been blowing hours on Baldur's Gate all week in the evening.

I know the SNES was quality and people oddly talk up the TG16 JP release a lot, but I don't hear much about the Genesis one.

I have been playing this since I was 10 and just beat it again last week. Never get old. Of course I have never played the SNES version.

I grew up with SF2 Turbo on snes, and now I have SF2 SCE for genesis and to my eye the differences are:

Snes has better music, sfx, and brighter colors.

Genesis plays a little faster and smoother.

Basically the versions play right into each consoles strengths. If you had one vs the other I'd say you aren't missing anything, my friend prefers the snes version for the better music and I prefer genesis version for access to the six button controller.

So basically SNES wins on presentation value closest to arcade but is a hair slower, the Genesis would be on par for speed but a bit subpar with the presentation value due to system limitations. Seems fair, at least the GEN got the legit CE version which SNES did not.

SF2CE was such a blast growing up, I was constantly going back and forth from that to MK2 32x. If only SSF2 Turbo would have gotten a 32x release.

SF2CE is the version I grew up with and the home port I prefer because of that. Though as an adult I tend to just prefer the arcade originals.

The music is arguably closer to the arcade but if you like the SNES music that won't mean much to you.

Shadow Squadron is the main reason I own a 32X. I think Star Wars Arcade is alright but I love Shadow Squadron.

The two versions are very similar. You would have to look at both versions side by side to notice the difference.

Personally, I prefer the Genesis version simply because I like the six-button Genesis controller. Color and audio differences are negligible to me.

Any version of Street Fighter II you like is fine. The differences are exaggerated.

Well I got a 32x system. Although I'm still kicking my own ass for a dumb move I traded in suikohen 1,2,3 on the ps1/2 all complete for the 32x and a couple ps2 games.
I thought it will be cool to play the 32x games but I remember the games being better than I thought when I played them.
I guess that's what happens when nostalgia comes to play. I remember having a blast with the wwf arcade and after burner and mk2, wwf raw and a couple of others but after playing them not so much. Ohh well. At least I can see the ps1 games going to a good home and not just sitting on my shelf saying look what I got
