Let's have a western animation thread

That's really weird. I'm glad to see it, but its a bit of a surreal moment.

Any Fans of Phineas and Ferb or Gravity falls here?

Archer and Bob's Burgers?

The best of the best

1. Cowboy Bebop
2. Justice League Unlimited
3. Gargoyles

Everything else:

4. Transformers (after Transformers the movie, when they brought in all the new Transformers. I loved Rodimus Prime and Galvatron)
5. Rurouni Kenshin - Including the ill named Samurai X prequel
6. Slayers
7. Swat Kats
8. Thundercats
9. Silverhawks
10. GI Joe - 80s version
11. Zelda - From the Mario show with Captain Lou Albano
12. X-Men - The fox cartoon from years ago, classic opening theme
13. Dragonball Z - We can make fun of it now, but I loved it years ago
14. Superman: The Animated Series
15. Batman Beyond
16. Ronin Warriors - The power's in the armor! Ronin Warriors!
17. Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors
18. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
19. Spider-Man (90s)
20. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 80s version of course
21. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - It might as well have been a cartoon so I included it. I have fond memories of the original team with the green/white ranger
22. Batman: The Animated series
23. Voltron - The classic one with the big cats
24. C.O.P.S - "Fighting crime in a future time, protecting Empire City from Big Boss and his gang of crooks"
25. Samurai Jack

Did you see the post, and list, that led to my list? It wasn't about WESTERN shows. It was about action cartoons in general. Most of the stuff on my list is western anyway. I could do a whole separate list focusing on just anime alone, which might include stuff like Record of Lodoss War, Gunsmith Cats, Blue Gender, Yu Yu Hakusho, Escaflowne, Gundam Wing, Outlaw Star, etc. My list probably wouldn't be all that great though as most of the anime I've seen is older stuff. I don't think I've watched anything that has come out in the last ten years or so. I have a lot of geeky hobbies, but it's hard to keep up with them all especially being over 30. Anime is one of those hobbies that has kind of fallen by the wayside for me.

I'll give you Gravity Falls. To me, the shows feels very much like Regular Show or something similar, with a bit better structure. I especially love the episode making fun of Street Fighter.

Gravity Falls is a surprisingly good show for something on The Disney Channel.

Any list of cartoons that includes a live action show is irrelevant.

What's wrong with Phineas and Ferb?
Since this signature affects old posts, I'm leaving a message here in case anyone searches for my username. This account died in early 2013. I am no longer a fundamentalist.

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.

Gravity Falls is awesome. Awesome enough that I named my championship-winning fantasy football team after it.

Another fantastic episode of Green Lantern this week. This has to be the best action cartoon running today.

Things are really starting to get epic with the Anti-Monitor and his army of Manhunters attacking our Universe. I loved the back-story of the Anti-Monitor's origin that tied into Krona. And what an emotional ending! Can't wait until next week with the cliffhanger this week ended on. You know it's a good episode when your done and it just leaves wanting the next one already.

I like your use of the word epic. It's a good word to use for that show and some of the awesome battles I've seen. It may eventually get a spot on that top 25 list of mine at the rate that it's going. It really brings back memories of Justice League/Justice League Unlimited. That show had some of the most epic moments I've ever seen in a non Japanese animated program, including all of the Marvel cartoons I've seen. Moments like these:

Easily one of the greatest non Japanese action cartoons of all time
