Well, it turns out I can get Super Mario Land 3D or Mario Kart 7 for free with my purchase (the catch being that I have to buy the pink 3DS). Which would you recommend?

EDIT: Im leaning towards Mario Kart 7

Mario Kart 7. It's an amazing MK game. SML3D is just an average Mario game imo

I'd say the opposite; SM3DL seems like a direct 3D sequel to SMB3, whereas MK7 has the same broken items from Wii, but has a few saving graces (such as bringing back coins). Then there's this...

Yeah, that's all one item. No, wait, I take that back, 6/7 of one item.

Is that a 3DS XL in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me? ~ZeroAX

It depends which you like more; platforming or racing. I have no preference since I have about 22 hours in both of them.

Thanks guys. I went Mario Kart 7. Im not a huge fan of SMB3 and aside from the rubber banding I really loved Mario Kart Wii so if those are the games they are most similar too then I think I'll enjoy Mario Kart 7 more. Plus, I figure it might be harder to get in some online play if I wait to pick up Mario Kart 7. SML3D I can pick up anytime and get the same experience.

One more question. Is the free Four Swords Anniversy promo still going on, and if so, anyone know when it ends? The Coral Pink 3DS launchs on the 10th, so Im likely not to get it until the 13th or 14th.

It ends sometime in February.

Well, I've had my 3DS for about a month and now the controls won't respond and the touch screen doesn't work. I'm just staring at the home screen and I can't do anything. Wow, this is almost like having my own little, portable, Xbox 360!

It's weird. It's stuck on the icon for the game X-scape. I wasn't even playing that game the last time I used the 3DS, so I don't know why it's selected. I guess it just defaulted to that spot when I turned it on. I can select that game and play it, but should I try to do anything else on the home screen I get no response. The icon refuses to move from that game no matter how many times I touch the dpad or analog stick and the touch screen controls don't respond at all

Lame Nintendo
