Austin, TX meet up thread

Speaking of Guardian Heroes, does anyone know if you can use an XBOX Live account from another region to play US games online? One of my friends in the UK gave me a code I can use for 2 days of Gold but we're pretty sure it'll only work on a UK account.

Or if someone has some 2 day US codes so I could participate in the meet, that'd be cool and very much appreciated as well.

Be sure to PM me today before 7pm for directions if you are coming to the meet up. This is not taking place at Game Over. We will be holding the GH XBLA meet at Paul's house.

As you guessed, my codes didn't end up working when I tried them this morning.

Maybe for the better since my teachers are never content with a dull week and have been springing junk on us left and right.

Hope you guys enjoy and hopefully I'll see some of you on there later.

It's ok. I'm not sure if we will actually be playing online now. Apparently GH XBLA supports system link, so we should be able to LAN.

Had a great time. Thanks again to Paul for allowing us to use his place and to everyone who attended. We were able to system link two 360s together so that 6 people could play. Being a weeknight, we lost a couple of people early. We finally had two people playing through story mode on one 360 to unlock characters and then another group playing VS battle while waiting. After we had unlocked a more characters we linked up for more hilarity.

I did shoot some video, but I was so busy playing that there isn't much.

That would be awesome. If someone is willing to take the lead, I can contact David for a date and donate games and systems. I just don't have the time to actually put something like that together. I have to move in December and I have some other things going on. I can probably attend, but I definitely can't plan.
