I was upset. But when you hear "ran over" and then find out that it was a "bump that neither noticed" it makes you smile because it's not as bad as it was and that my emotional/hormonal pregnant wife was way over exaggerating you smile in relief.
Taking the broken mirror off in the bitter cold and having to buy a new mirror did piss me off, but I'm glad she wasn't hurt and no crash or "running over" really took place.
Sometimes you have to look at the bright side especially since that same morning she got stuck in the driveway (slid on black ice down the decline into the piled snow from shoveling) and our oldest son broke a plate at breakfast...

Smile: Planning on performing in some serious venues in LA.
Ticked: Getting on stage without a comedy resume isn't easy. C'mon, I sell a shit load of craft supplies. That should be funny enough.
Serious ticked: Wife has kidney issues. Like, issues that could kill an unborn child and prevent any other pregnancies.
Serious smile: I have a compatible kidney if necessary. Keep your fingers crossed for us, racketeers! (But not for too long, and don't blame me for your onset arthritis).

When I read "other" I take that to mean there's one going on... do you already have a kid on the way!? Or did you mean "future"?
Don't mean to pry - but if congratulations are in order you deserve them...

Never announce a pregnancy until the third trimester. Or is it the second? As a dude, I'm not sure.
I shouldn't have brought it up, but I did. No pregnancy news from me unless it is positive. I'm still happy to accept thoughts and prayers though.
