Painkiller Overdose. Just like the original Painkiller but less filling and with more flab.

Warframe...because I apparently enjoy multiplayer games that never end.

What are you playing it on?

The final boss is not so bad when you got his pattern down. There's still some bs on his attacks though. Im playing the ps3 version. Heard is being ported to the PS4/xbone this year. At this pace the PS4 will become the definitive console to play all RE games (if they remake or port nemesis and code veronica).

Ahhh, I see. I played it on 3DS, and the right joystick really isn't the most responsive thing in the world if you use it for binge gaming (I have no idea why it just suddenly works better when you up it down for a while, but that is definitely what I was experiencing). Playing it on a console is probably at least a little easier. I still really enjoyed that game though, despite how difficult it was to aim at times :P

Definetly is better the aim on console. I played the 3DS version after playing it on the PS3 without the right joystick... it was playable but theres no way i woul finish the game after using a controller.

Pokemon Sun

This is better than the horrible X&Y but i'm not really into it. I'm on the second island and it's not really boring me but it feels like i'm playing it just to beat it. Part of the reason to that is that the battles are just a little bit too slow. I'm sure i would explore more if there wasn't any intros and the battles would just start right away but like i said the battles are little bit too slow and i feel like just going for the goal for the most of the time.

I've been playing Cross Tantei Monogatari lately, and am past the intro section of the first chapter on disc 2--the fifth chapter overall. I kind of wish it didn't remind me so much of someone I know, but it plays a lot like the non-courtroom sections of the Phoenix Wright / Gyakuten series; just with better scenario writing, and perhaps not as memorable an OST. The exception is that Chapter 4 plays as a simple sound novel, but that particular scenario is so brutally, tragically, beautiful that it totally wrecked my shit. Whoever was in charge of that scenario was working way above his or her pay grade, I'm sure.

One thing I've enjoyed about the game, is the estimates for the length of each chapter on the back of the case. I beat the estimates for the first two chapters by ~30%, but probably hit the estimates pretty squarely for chapters 3 and 4. That's partly because the pixel hunting picked up quite a bit in chapter 3, and despite the fact that I knew "whodunit" really early on in the scenario, the developers really wanted me to go through the detective work of figuring out how the murders were actually committed. (Dammit Shinjou, why were you so pretty--and smart--and deadly--yet hilariously obvious.)

Aside from pixel hunting, the other tricky thing is that characters in the game will often ask Ken (the main character) how he figured something out, and the game prompts the player to enter something in response. A few of them I sat around spinning my wheels on a bit before resorting to looking it up--I forgot that Tokyo Dome was nicknamed "big egg," and I was convinced that it should have accepted 'UV rays' for one of them, when it actually wanted 'radiation.' I've done okay when they involve homophones, or homonyms.

Ken is sort of a big, dumb, uncharacteristically skirt chasing, idiot, with a hearth of gold (?). Not sure how I feel about him as an MC, but the supporting cast is fairly good. There's a lot of intrigue to the scenarios, and Ken's backstory. I've enjoyed it so far.

I have also been enjoying laughing at some of the compilations of Mass Effect: Andromeda bugs lately, and noticed some similar (yet wholly different) occurrences in Cross Tantei: Sometimes when transitioning screens, the game will load a character's artwork, but with the wrong facial expression, and I've seen someone start with a really creepy smile, then switch half a second later to a really forlorn expression. It makes me laugh, even though it's totally jank. It doesn't happen especially often, though.

starting playing Civilization V. I've never played a Civ game prior. I'm an hour in and so far finding it enjoyable, though I'm still wrapping my head around what the heck is going on.

I assume you're trying to build a spacecraft to get off of Earth before Ghandi nukes you.

Not really. If I recall, that's one of the ways to win the game (the only way I have, actually) - build up advanced tech to the point that you can go colonize other worlds. Logically, why there are spinoffs to that effect in Alpha Centauri or more recently Civilization: Beyond Earth.

gotcha. I honestly don't know anything about any of these games other than I've heard their titles and know that people seem to like them. It's pretty cool so far, though.
