Almost through with Mirror's Edge Catalyst. Things have gotten better now that I'm just rushing through the story and ignoring the crappy challenges. Game does have a ton of shitty issues though and is inferior to Mirror's Edge in about every single way. Basically the open world idea was god awful they implemented a "Runner Vision" which gives you a red strobing line to follow and highlights the obstacles they want you use/maneuver around on your course however it doesn't always work very well with it seemingly disappearing at times or not highlighting object properly making areas with glass or objects that are all in gray scale kind of confusing to navigate. The level designs are also pretty horrible most are really bland and stretched out and since it is open world they seem to love reusing the same areas over and over as well as making you run across nearly the entire map between missions unless you use the fast travel system. The combat is also mind numbingly bad with some areas forcing you to fight everyone which while not difficult is very time consuming and annoying. Honestly I'd rather be sliding around the map like an idiot shooting people like in the previous game over having to strafe circles around enemies spamming the kick button for 2-3 minutes at a time  . The story is also really shitty and has one huge gaping plot hole that makes me wonder how this prequel can possibly be wrapped in a package that makes the events of Mirrors Edge plausible. This game definitely earned itself a place in the bargain bin and I can't really recommend anyone pay over $10 for it.

Replaying Resident evil revelations again. I just unlocked nightmare mode and start it with a new game+ and boy its great. I love when the harder dificulties change the enemies and items locations instead of just "now the enemies do more damage and you have less health".

Shame that i want to unlock the alternative costumes and have to go through a grind fest on Raid Mode.

I can see myself perhaps doing the normal game on a harder mode, but there's NO way I'm doing that final boss again on ANY mode. That fecker was proper tough Xp

The final boss is not so bad when you got his pattern down. There's still some bs on his attacks though. Im playing the ps3 version. Heard is being ported to the PS4/xbone this year. At this pace the PS4 will become the definitive console to play all RE games (if they remake or port nemesis and code veronica).

I have played about 15 mins of THPS5 and it is quite possibly the worst quality game I've ever played that was actually released to retail. Wow.

Spoken like a man who has never played Bubsy 3D (or Superman for N64 I suppose).

I played some of Dark Souls III: The Ringed City since it apparently was live already. I..am still not very good at Dark Souls. Managed to get to the first boss, but that's about it.

I have avoided most of the N64 library but that belongs in the unpopular opinion thread.

Have you seen videos of thps5 though? It's insane. In 15 mins I glitched out, fell through the ground, and saw the most inhuman physics... Just bad.

I (would have?) thought they did a big patch given there was a lot of blowback on release.

That is really poor, man.

literally the first thing that happened in the game was I skated about 3 feet ahead of me and froze for a second and a half. It's ugly, dude.
