I went to the Farmer's Market today and there was a pile of wires on a table there. So I walked over and found a bunch of broken down controllers and a loose Genesis and a loose Playstation, but there was a box of games, which looked like sports games and Super Mario NES games just from what was on the top layer.

Since I wasn't in a rush, and the sign said they were $2 a game or 3 for $5, I figured I might as well flip through the box and see if anything was in there that looked somewhat interesting.

Wound up getting the following for $12:

NES Klax (what can I say, I love Klax for some reason, loose)
NES Quattro Adventure (Linus Spacehead, Boomerang Kid, Super Robin Hood, Treasure Island Dizzy, loose)
SMS Double Dragon (complete)
GEN Rocket Knight Adventures (complete)
GG Mortal Kombat II (loose, plastic case)
GG The Adventures of Batman and Robin (loose, plastic case)
GG World Series Baseball (loose, plastic case)

They're all in pretty good condition. The Quattro Adventure game seems to be hit and miss when I start it up, but after giving it a cleaning, it should be okay.

Still hitting Gamestop stores for Gamecube, PS2 and GBA games before they go away.

PS2 Resident Evil Code Name Veronica X 5th Anniversary - Free Empty Case
My continual hunt for PS2 Silent Hill 2 Greatest Hits and Resident Evil Veronica 5th Anniversary. Crap, the extra demo disc is hard to find on Veronica X. Found the case at one Gamestop, but no game. The employee was getting ready to toss the empty case so gave it to me instead. Now I have an empty Veronica X case teasing me to find the game and elusive demo disc.

Game Boy Advance Mighty Beanz Pocket Puzzles - $1.99

I bought this game remembering that it was supposed to be rare. Maybe I got mixed up with the unreleased Gamecube version. I could have sworn I read a published article with pics here on Racketboy somewhere. Maybe under the "Most Valuable Treasures", but I can't find a GBA Treasures listing. I did find a short thread that talked about the Gamecube Beanz.

Perhaps this game is rare because it comes with one in a series of five exclusive bean toys. That means buying FIVE Beanz GBA carts!

No Beanz toy in my used one. Anyways I posted a Beanz review here:

Is this game rare? Was there an article about this on Racketboy?

When I was sick last week, my dad brought me Silent Hill for ps1 for a dollar. Just disc and manual, but still cool.
