If u r getting a not supported message, the issue has to be coming from your TV. You an remove all doubt by simply using your VGA box on another set that supports the connection (another HDTV, PC monitor etc.), of course that is you have an alternative set. Even if you don't, take it to a friends house or family member who a monitor.

Only getting that Not Supported message if I change it to the "PC" setting and when I first turned on my system it was on the TV setting which had worked the last time. I could try it with my computer monitor but not sure it'd be worth the trouble (I'd have to unplug the monitor and take it into the other room) and unfortunately I don't have another HDTV. Plus the set up I have makes it really hard to unplug everything and move it...especially with that rat's nest of wires I have behind the TV stand, haha.

Huh? When I turned it on today it was on the TV setting and nothing happened, it's not the switch. Last time I used it (September) it worked and I didn't change anything; today and yesterday when i turned it on I got a black screen and no audio. I only hit that switch for the first time today, I've flipped it back and it still doesn't work.

Why is your box swtich on TV mode to even begin with when you apparently wish to play the game in 640x480

It's always been on that mode and it's always worked just fine.

Wait! whats exactly do you have on TV mode... your VGA box or your actual TV??? Regardless of which, depending on what you own, sometimes a set will not pick up the signal UNLESS everything is setup to launch in PC mode (Progressive scan, 31KHZ, etc.) from the get go.

Lol sorry! The VGA Box is set to TV Mode. The TV is set to the right mode for PC/VGA display.

yeah. As I expected. Unless you switch the box to 31KHZ before the box tells your DC to launch the game in 15KHZ, you will get a VGA picture. Guess what happens if you don't?
