I am having a hard time believing it , 875%? thats too much to be real.
What I do not understand why are people so upset with the XboxOne but are happy with the PS4 , even though they are both doing the same thing. Disc games, online play, cameras, about same power, no backward compatibility .
I did mention this earlier, at Gamespot people are 87% favoring the ps4, not sure why.

You do not get the idea , although I am against multiple installments per console , I am not complaining about that. I am saying that Triple A titles cost a lot and it will bring the videogames market down (at least for the publishers)
While We had 3 Sonics on the Sega Genesis , the money to develop the 3 Sonics probably is no where as big as the budget for the next Halo installment on XboxOne . When you make a game with small amount of investment its ok to sell 50-100 k titles back then, current Triple A titles like God of War and Halos are so expensive they probably need 1 million in sales to cover the costs. So its much easier to make multiple installments and sell 100k units than make multi-million dollar games and try to sell anywhere from 3+ million per title.
Let us not forget , with the Genesis you could only play the Genesis games so the success rate of the game is much higher. With any current gen console you can play games from PSX , PS2 , Indie , and remakes not to mention expansion packs . The chances of succeeding with multiple installments back then was much higher as I believe game libraries were much smaller. Today its high competition and to make a multiple installment ($30m-$40m each) is too risky. In the end we will lose the games we love because the publisher got greedy thinking the more he releases installments the more money he will make. There will be a time where people will say "enough" .

Wait before you laugh, this could make sense. I can see fans of a show would like to see all episode on their favorite cable TV and unlock an achievement and it will give them a satisfaction to brag that they are fans of this show. If I was going to watch a show or a movie any way, why not get its achievement? It will be good advertising if people with certain achievements (watched all episode of Breaking Bad Season 5) will get into some kind a contest where randomly 3 will picked and receive a free game or something like that. I see it happening to be honest .
Imagine if you see all Miami Heat games you get into random pick for a free season tickets next year? I bet all fans will get the achievements , they are watching the games any how.
