It's funny because I once was a big DC collector and the NGPC was only really picked up as part of that collection
brothers from another mother, man.
Hah, yeah, I saw that you also have a sizable DC collection. I would love to be in one place permanently enough to actually have a gaming room to put it all in. I've been selling off parts of my videogame collection over the years (always adding new stuff of course) but the DC is the one I won't touch because I had so much fun collecting for it.

Strangely I don't think I actually own any of the games that link up to the NGPC.

Been playing some more Pac Man tonight. Damn it's hard. Wish it would save hi-scores. It's a shame that nearly every version of Pac Man seems to omit that one feature that would give it that extra reason to collect it.

I'm thinking of upgrading my cart only Pac Man to a boxed version with more of those rubber rings as mine seems a little worn out. Be interesting to see how they will pad out the instruction manual for that one.

I have a DC/NGPC link cable, but have never actually tried it.

Can't remember - does the DC Namco Museum save scores? I'm fairly certain it does for Galaga on the same disc.

Well, still messing with Pocket Tennis Color. I've been experimenting with the internal clock and have discovered a new seasonal trophy: the Spring Cup! This means there has to be a Fall Cup or Autumn Cup, since I already have the Summer Cup and Winter Cup. I am estimating, based on the days of the other trophies, that the Fall Cup will be available somewhere during late September or early October. I will keep searching for it, and when I find it, I'll likely compose and post a list of when all the trophies are available, since it appears no one on the Internet has done that(the closest I have seen only had 12 trophies listed, and the author admitted he was missing others).

In talking with Ack I ended up playing through most of Pocket Tennis, Sonic Pocket, and Card Fighters Clash Capcom, and Neo Turf Masters, over the last week. My wife is enthralled with Pocket Tennis and Card Fighters, we are in talks for a trade with one of her friends for his two NGPCs with link cable and a dozen games, but it is very likely I will be making those physical cards.

Upgraded my poor condition, or incomplete copies of:

Burning Fight
Fatal Fury 3
Fighter's History Dynamite

I can't decide if I like softcase games or not. Every now and then I get cases w/slip lids that haven't bulged out, the tray isn't cracked or loose, the plastic art sleeve isn't muddled or torn and I think, "Yeah, I enjoy these - let's do it." Then, I get 2 more and they're just nasty cases and I go back to staying w/snaplock games.

And here I am with those MVS carts just strewn about my bedroom floor, not giving a hoot. I just love the durability of MVS carts.

Actually I need Fatal Fury 3 MVS, for some reason that game isn't on the 161 in 1.

Did you still need KoM 2 as well? I might do another MVS buy.

Yep :( I got outbid right at the last second, I think it ended at like $66 shipped. Wasn't willing to pay more than $60 for it.

A group buy would be killer :D I also need AOF 3 that is cheapish, right?

I've pretty much gave up looking for a decent price on Ganryu, snk vs capcom, Twinkle Star Sprites and Pulstar.

I think I prefer Blasing Star over Pulstar anyway, or maybe I'm just in denile

I'm probably in on group buy too.

I'm starting to wonder if I'm getting furrtek's converter after all. Talked to me on the 30th, printed up the shipping label, gave me the tracking number, said he'd ship it the next day and it usually takes about a week to get from France to the States. I've been checking the tracking number every day since then and it STILL says "Your package is ready to ship. It has not been taken on by La Poste yet" and he hasn't responded to a couple message on Skype either.

Only reason I'm still holding out hope is that I see no reason whatsoever that he would have processed the shipping the day he talked to me (or made up a REALLY CONVINCING fake one, since he sent me the .pdf and the tracking number on the French website *DOES* say it's shipping to Rochester NY) if he had no intention of shipping it -- why spend another $20 or whatever if he had no intention of shipping it? Why not just be like "Ha ha, sucker"? He offered a refund if I wanted it too, but honestly I want the product more than a refund.

Ah well. Patience is a virtue I suppose. Hopefully it ends up coming or I get some sort of response.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed

I started a buy over in the Zelda Doll forum.

@ninja - AoF3 is pricey man, like $75. KoM2 is not cheap either, would be around $65 :/
