All of you: shush about me playing modern warfare 3! I got it in a bundle with the batman arkham titles mortal kombat and modern warfare 3 for 40$. I got pissed off at mk and sold it LBP1 and MVC3(have ultimate edition) so I could get a better game which ended up being MVC2 and MD2 (I think that's the name but it didn't work except for 1 time)

I lol'd when you were a dad video taping your daughter and wife and a bomb killed all of them. It was supposed to be dramatic and stuff but it was poorly executed and such

I completed this one today, and I couldn't help thinking of the "it's a PS1 game" quote there everytime I started it up. Honestly, my only issue is the "pop-up" enemies that many times appeared right in front of you out of thin air if you moved too fast in a stage. Plus, to get Gold stars you need to eliminate ALL the enemies in each stage, and if you don't activate every invisible trigger (or situate yourself at every MG 42 in the game), you're gonna end up with a lot of Bronzes

My gosh, Rising Sun isn't really bad, but it's BRUTAL. Much harder to get a mission medal because they factor in not only the bonus objectives and accuracy, but HITS TAKEN as well.

I just finished the Guadalcanal mission which was pretty dark and immersive, environment wise. Had 72% accuracy that got me a Silver rating, but took too many hits, and only completed 1 of the 2 bonus missions. Couldn't find the last set of intelligence documents!

Next -- the Pistol Pete Showdown. That's where the machete is to uncover hidden areas in the previous stages.

Sadly, I don't think the GC port has the film canisters with the veteran interviews. I has a sad.

I can get into any FPS pretty much, but these WWII ones I've been doing on the Gamecube and PC are a whole different experience. I really get *into* these games. My surroundings seem like nothing. It's amazing. Not many games do this for me.

Also have been enjoying that MOHAA's multiplayer is very alive and well! Team DM and Freeze Tag modes rule.

RS is much harder to 100% than the PS1 titles or Frontline was. I never did, IIRC.

It also doesn't have an online mode like the oXbox and PS2 versions do (or did, anyway).

That's one of the great things about PC gaming. If a game is a classic and has a good multiplayer mode, it'll stay at least a little alive indefinitely. People still play the old Quake games online, or so I've heard.

At least there are checkpoints in RS. I'm finding it easier to medal in MOHAA, got all of them so far. Still doing that one too outside of multiplayer.

I'm sure they do, Quake Live is pretty fun too. I also do Unreal Tournament 2004; the Onslaught game type is still highly popular with tons of servers to play, I also do an RPG-game based off the Invasion game type and one based on the Assault game type. It also helped that UT3 wasn't well received with the good gametypes cut or merged into other ones.

Nice to see how even games 10 years old can still be supported while you see other game companies shut off their online stuff after that long.
