Lemme throw some positive gamer logic at y'all. There is quite literally a game out there for everybody. Sure, gaming is largely dominated by and geared toward men, but more and more there are games, indie to AAA, that are accommodating more and more differing viewpoints and identities. Unless you are in a coma, there is probably a game out there you can enjoy. Depending on your interests and who you are, there may be only a small number, but there is something. And with it being easier and easier to create content, that's incredibly democratizing.

That's because he's right. There's so much out there, even some of the most wretched at stuff can find something they can do and enjoy. Or you could be severely disabled or even paralyzed and still there's something you could do -- even if it's mentally dragging a mouse pointer around and building in the original Sim City which has no time constraints if you disable the disasters and the clock (or set to slow.) Some people quite a few probably really over time, just those free Windows games and in particular Solitaire supply a heap of fun.
