I re-installed Age of Empires 2 as my 7 y/old found the box and wanted to play
-so i got the Conquerors expansion - lots to do ... now as soon as the kids are in bed ... AOE2 time ... lol
Doom
defiantly CIV 1-5
also Dune 2 was a definite first pathfinder of a PC gaming genre ..
going through the lists - few posts above .. re-kindled a few very old passions
and a few oldies i'll try ..

This reminds me of that huge "
Worthwhile DOS Games" image. It's also worth noting how each community had different nitpicks on why it's not correct. Doing a reverse image search of the full sized one and browsing the result turned up a few great games I had never heard of.
