Well on the XB1 they're technically all "installed to the HDD" because it downloads the BC version of the game. If you have the disc version, you have to use that as a "key" to play the game so you'd need the disc.

An easy way to get to that link he posted is to go to xbox.com and sign-in and then choose Games With Gold under the Games menu there. Then click on the picture of the game you want and click Buy and it should show up as $0.00 and then you should be able to download it on your Xbox. It's not quite as seamless, but it works.

I'm looking at it right now on the website and it still says $14.99.

Somewhere on the page it should also say something like "Gold member price $0.00" if you are logged in with an account with an active subscription.

Just click on it and you will have a chance to back out before purchase if it still says $14.99 and doesn't revert to $0.00.

What does it show next on yours next to where mine says Already Purchased and Download to Xbox? Does it show you logged in on this page as noiseredux?

shows signed in as me. Says "Gold Exclusive Price Free" and then "$14.99" under that. If I click download then it brings up a thing saying that it's $14.99 and asking how I want to pay. So I hit cancel.

Maybe the 2 week trial didn't stick because I use to be a Gold member? But then again, I got those One games for free the other day. Hmm. Either way, I'm gonna sign up for Gold soon anyway.

...

So wishful thinking - one 360 XBLA game that I'd be really happy to see added to the BC list is Code Veronica HD. That's one of the glaring RE absences on PC.

The price is deducted at checkout, right above your payment info, it should say "Free"

I believe to get access to Games with Gold offers, you have to have at least a month of Gold. Trials less than a month are not eligible.

The matchmaking in MCC mostly works today, but the problem now is that the population is low so it takes time to find players and you can only play some playlists. It is still neat being able to play Halo 1 and 2 online again.

Also, if you buy the Ultra edition of KI Season 1 you'll get the 1st KI arcade with it. Season 1 was my favorite season. You might also want to look into the Definitive Edition to own all of new KI (and get arcade KI1 & 2) on disc.

but oddly it gave me the other two games for free. Hmm.

And I did check what avrame screenshotted, and still mine said $14.99, not free. Eh, whatever. I didn't want that Rayman game that badly anyway haha. And I am planning to sign up for a year of Gold soon.

Will keep in mind, thanks!

And I did pick up Madden 17: Superbowl Edition last night. Such a good deal. I had planned on grabbing the regular game (on sale at BB for $40), but then the Superbowl Ed launched yesterday with a bunch of DLC for $20. Unfortunately downloading a ~30GB game the day it's released can be tough on servers, so it took several hours. Luckily, it let me play at least the tutorial stuff while the rest was downloading.

The PC streaming on Very High looks fantastic. And really, launching Madden 17 via Windows gave me a strange sense of satisfaction. It really made me feel like the Xbox One is exactly what I was describing that I wanted: an add-on for my PC that is giving me access to non-PC games. It's like a Windows 32X.
