The People's Choice Thread
Re: The People's Choice Thread
You guys realize that scene was SUPPOSED to sound terrible, right?

They did their jobs so well, I still cringe at the thought of it.MrPopo wrote:You guys realize that scene was SUPPOSED to sound terrible, right?

Re: The People's Choice Thread
I started up my first recommended pick. To keep this thread focussed, I posted it over in the RPG progress thread.
Anyone else started anything from the thread yet?

I'm going to start Chrono Trigger soon still plowing through a bit more of Fallout 4 though and The Division is probably going to suck up a good chunk of this month. Also kind of want to finish Hometown Story before I move on to my next portable game, but it's really starting to drag on at this point.

Jade Cocoon it is. I know I said I'd wait until the next Together RPG has completed, but a glance at howlongtobeat tells me that Jade Cocoon is pretty "short" so I think I can squeeze it in now.

This is my vote because I always hear it's one of the best PS2 JRPG's and I need to know why. Beat it and tell me about it.Exhuminator wrote:Shadow Hearts Covenant (PS2)

I'm currently playing Crimson Shroud on 3DS. But the next time I feel like playing PS2, it'll be Persona 3 FES and SH Covenant.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

Man, you weren't kidding. I just looked it up. Let me know how that goes.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Jade Cocoon it is. I know I said I'd wait until the next Together RPG has completed, but a glance at howlongtobeat tells me that Jade Cocoon is pretty "short" so I think I can squeeze it in now.

Ok, well, I have some time to kill before April, and I'm pretty sure I'm getting close to the end of Ultima Underworld, so it's time I sit down and offer up my next game.
You're gonna see some...interesting choices on this list. While they're all unbeaten and in my backlog, I'm trying to stick to some of the shorter options I have at my disposal, which means that quality is...well, it isn't exactly at the forefront. Still, these have all got to get beaten sometime, right? Anyway, here's my list:
1. Super Ninja Boy (SNES)
2. Unepic (PC)
3. Lichdom: Battlemage (PC)
4. Drakkhen (SNES)
5. Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone (PC)
So...which of these should I play?
