Wow, I can't believe it's already April  Guess it's time for an update...

Beat at least 12 different RPGs
Still have only finished 2/12... Debating on whether I want to drop this or not, but maybe I'm just going slow because of school + bad planning ._. Not sure.

Buy 10 Steam games or less

I've only bought one game so far (Stardew Valley), but there hasn't been a big sale yet so we'll see how I hold up ha...

Focus buying games for ??? console?
Still debating a bit on this, but I'm thinking I might want to focus on PS3 games... A lot of the ones I want are pretty cheap, common, and there's a lot of neat looking RPGs. Also still debating about focusing on 360 as well since nearly all of the ones I want are very cheap. I'm still not sure, of course, since I'm awful at making decisions

^that's the reason I don't make New Year's Resolutions. They tend to result in abandonment and disappointment. Trying is the first step toward failure. The lesson here is never try.

Do you love Stardew Valley? The praise is universal. It's def on my list but maybe when the weather gets nicer so I can play that instead of working in my own yard.

lol I wouldn't say that I'm disappointed, since I like trying different things out and seeing how it works out. So even if I figure that this wasn't exactly a good way to get myself to play more RPGs, now I know to not do that the same way again haha.

Yes! It's really great. It's probably the best Harvest Moon game I've played so far (even if it's not actually Harvest Moon), especially since the last HM games I've played before this were incredibly disappointing.

Expand my tastes
Not a difficult one, admittedly, but I'm certainly looking to try out now series and genres over playing series I'm more comfortable with, although...

Beat every Sonic game...
...that is worth playing. I started this in 2015 and I'm already well into it. I love the Sonic series and I really want to refresh my memory of what I loved about each game.

And obviously...

Have fun
Sounds cliche but I can be a bit of a completionist/perfectionist sometimes. I hope to avoid playing games that seem to bore or frustrate me instead of the ones that I genuinely enjoy...
Collecting for: SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, GB, GBC, GBA, DS, 3DS, Megadrive, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, Xbox, XB360.

I'm the same way. I have a tendency to let my backlog overwhelm me or to let myself get bogged down in a game that I do NOT enjoy just because I don't want to leave it unfinished. I've been trying hard to kick both bad habits, but for some of us - especially those of us with other mental health issues that lead to habits or anxieties that aren't rational in the first place - it's easier said than done.

This is why you live by my rules. When life gives you lemons, SCREW LEMONS! TAKE THAT LEMON AND STICK IT IN GOD'S BIG, UGLY EYE! SCREW YOU, GOD, COMING IN HERE WITH THESE BULLSHIT LEMONS! MAKE BEER OUT OF THOSE LEMONS AND THEN PLAY A GAME SO HARD YOU DESTROY IT WITH THE SHEER FORCE OF YOUR AWESOME! BACKLOG? NO! JUST MORE HEADS TO MOUNT ON THE WALL! EAT YOUR GAME'S BRAINS AND WEAR ITS CORPSE LIKE CLOTHING! DANCE LIKE MC HAMMER IN YOUR DEAD GAME BACKLOG! IT'S HAMMER TIME, BITCH!

*ahem*

Your anxieties will just melt away.
