Yeah the Wii ones were.....meh. I played a lot of Crystal Bearers out of necessity and did not find much enjoyment from it. The story seemed convoluted and the world had changed so much it was not even remotely recognizable.

Yeah, this is a fun thread.

Nice to see some Battalion Wars love too. I've got the game, but like that one (and Eternal Darkness, Twin Snakes, etc.) I haven't gotten around to playing those. I guess I've been too busy playing the multi-port games instead (and a bit much Dark Legacy I must admit, but it's LONG!)

I could probably remove some of my collection and fill it with the games we've got on the list so far, but damn those RE games are a bit pricey.

Fire Emblem has to make the list. I'm hoping it was just an oversight.

Only two people at best mentioned The PS Card game and it is there... :?

A ton of people have mentioned some of the games not yet on the list

I admit, I forgot Fire Emblem Path of Radiance. Agreed it should be on the list. I need to actually go and look at the 50 or so GC games I still have to jog my memory.

Has anyone ever played Amazing Island here? Is it any good?

Thats because the sequel was DS only - Rings of Fate. Then ofcourse you have the DS/Wii release of Echos which had horrible wii controls. And that silly monster hunter knockoff.

One year, Ack, his girlfriend, Xen (a mutual friend who doesnt post much), and myself set to beat FFCC. I had three GBAs, and one cube with player at the time. In one weekend we powered through 90% of the title. It was awesome. I still prefer 4 Swords, but FFCC is the other half of that package. If you have one, you might aswell buy the other.

After looking over the honorable mention list here are my thoughts....

Games that deserve in.
Baten Kaitos Origins - A pretty unique game that was exclusive to the system. Only played a few hours of it but I think it stands out enough to be in.

Super Monkey Ball 1/2 - I think these could be put together. In my mind they are not unique enough to really differentiate between the two. But if it comes down to it and they are not lumped together, I think #1 was the standout title because it was the one which was introduced us to the GC at launch. I dont think we need them both on the list taking up two spots.

Viewtiful Joe - This game always felt more at home on the GC rather than the PS2 which it was ported to. If we ever did a top 30 list for the PS2 I know VJ wouldn't make the list so i think it deserves a spot on the GC list.

Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes - This one was tough. If there was a list for PS1 games I'd have to put the original MGS on there too. But I think this one with its added mechanics, enhanced voice acting, and cleaned up graphics does enough to warrant another play through. After all MGS is one of the greatest video games of all times for a reason and this re-release is special in its own way.

Games I don't know enough about to pass judgement.
Sega Soccer Slam
Alien Hominid
Billy Hatcher
Beach Spikers
Pacman vs (does this require 4 GBA's?)
Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee
Lost Kingdoms 1/2

Games with HD remakes that improved upon them enough to bump them out. (All awesome games though!).
Tales of Symphonia
Ikaruga
Zelda Windwaker
Beyond Good and Evil

And lastly one definite no.
Star Fox Adventures - Did nothing for me and doesn't fit the Star Fox universe well at all. It should have been released as Dinosaur Island.

There is some debate that the HD Tales of Symphonia is an upgrade. I believed they used the PS2 port of the game which had some framerate and slowdown issues.

I believe the PS2 port of TOS was 30 FPS where the Gamecube was 60fps, also I don't care if it had an HD remake you can't mention the top 30 GCN games without including TOS or Zelda WW
