Mostly platformers in the episode which aren't my thing, but still interesting as I only kind of knew about the Asterix games. There's always Power Strike II for SMS that only came out in Australia. I can't remember offhand if you already mentioned it when talking about Aleste games before. I have one for sale in my trade pile without manual as I managed to upgrade to a complete one. *cough*

Check out Asterix and Obelix XXL on the GBA, its the most graphically impressive game on the system and a pretty decent 3D platform.

How much ya want for that Power Strike 2, Hobie-Wan? Is it in one of those slightly smaller AU boxes? I remember getting Line of Fire from AU and it seemed slightly off in size to me to I put it in a regular-sized box and printed up an insert which would fit.

Great video. I appreciated the detail to Genesis & SMS compatibility, most reviews have focused mainly on NES/SNES support. I was surprised to see F16 Falcon work. Has anyone determined yet if Hyperkin unintentionally included SG1000 support in the Retron?

Console Modding - Game Sack

Post by Redifer »

Modifying or improving the functionality is fairly popular these days and sometimes you just need to fix things in order to get them working properly again. So bust out 30 or 40 sticks of hot glue and settle in with out latest episode about Console Modding!

(Protip: Clicking the link above will take you to a place where the episode where it can be viewed, it's like magic!)

Have you ever modded or repaired your console or had it done for you?

I've modded a few Nomads with a new screen and rechargeable battery pack.

I've commissioned a few mods to from Apollo Boy.

S-vid on model 1 genesis and av out on 2 model 2 NES

Interesting episode, I am curious about what reception it will get from viewers.

I replaced caps in a SCD model 1 for someone and I got some caps to do a pile of GGs, but I keep putting it off. Did a Nomad screen and battery for someone. Bypassed some bad traces on a 2600. Just a little of this and that.

Loved the video!

Because I live in a PAL Zone (Australia) modding is pretty much a must.

I have modded my:

NES - Region Free
SNES - 50/60hz, Region Free
N64 - Svideo Mod
Genesis/MD - 50/60ghz, Language Mod

I need to get off my ass and 50/60hz mod my Master System as well.
