One of the small pleasures in my life is never revealing my actual name at a restaurant.

"Kennedy, party of four".

Also helps with the wait time.
Just make sure you pay in cash.

After "Chicken and steak" they probably said "barbacoa" which is pork, and the best option so says my tongue.

Always. It surprises me that it surprises people when I answer "neither" to the question "credit or debit?". Wallets are bulky and unflattering. It's a purse for your pocket.

Solution! Money clip. They are simple and elegant.

Only if one can't keep them in order and just keep shoving stuff in there. Bifold vs trifold helps.

Incorrect.

Carnitas is pork. I think you might've meant that, not barbacoa.
Barbacoa varies upon the region. In the US, it's commonly beef. Can be a variety of meats though, just as it refers to how it's cooked.

I'm with flojo though, Al pastor is the best.

George Costanza joke.

Bifolds (which I call a billfold) make more sense, and I can get behind someone who owns a wallet that is full of family pictures, but otherwise the bulk of it serves no purpose. Besides cash, a debit card, and an ID, what else is worth lugging around? Possibly a bus pass, but that's all.

Business cards go in a slim business card holder. No need to hold onto "rewards" cards as you can use your phone number. And thank God that the wallets on a long ass chain thing is no longer hip.

It's the little things that upset me.

Correct and incorrect in my visit. Word for word-

Me= "Is barbacoa like a bbq?"

Employee= "It's our word for pork"

Which means the clerk did not know the menu as barbacoa at Chiptole is indeed shredded beef.

I have known people with wallets that were more than 2 inches thick. I do not know if they had a hollowed out portion in one buttock to accommodate such an abomination.

See I rocked the money clip for a while, but a: I still carried a debit card for when I needed to reup my cash and b: even if you're disciplined enough to avoid that, you at the very least need to carry a license. With a money clip, I don't feel as though any cards look right.

My brother turned me on to thin-thin wallets with a bar in the center that acts as a money clip, a la:

That's... as close as I've found to perfect for my personal tastes, though I'd like to get one slightly taller because I find my money juuust barely sticks out the top of it (especially when I was regularly carrying both US and Canadian money for a while there) and it crumples it and I'm not a fan of that.

I'm constantly trying out new styles of wallets, money clips, etc. Probably get one every 9 months or so. They're never terribly expensive, I figure if by some chance I stumble upon a miracle design I can try to find the highest quality version I can lay my hands on.

I also have moved to front pocket (or breast pocket when I'm wearing a sport coat or other jacket) for my wallet exclusively long ago.
