I really wanted to buy this one given I needed some time off from the series and skipped Origins.

I just truly believe the Batmobile parts, or at least how often they come up, would result in me giving up and not finishing. Games can have flaws, but I don't want to be forced to do something I legitimately don't want to do over and over. From everything I've read and watched it doesn't seem like a matter of taste but the fact that they shoehorned the vehicle segments in there because they were desperate to have a claim as to why this one innovates on the previous games. The former would've at least maybe convinced me to still buy.

Well they're not so bad if you can get a handle on the tank parts(which don't bug me so bad except one stealth tank section later in the game). The only true problem with the batmobile is the riddler tracks but mostly his last one...that one is brutal at least in my opinion.....

How often one uses the Batmobile in Arkham Knight:

1. Riddler races
2. Riddler puzzles
3. Tank battles
4. Tank stealth sequences
5. Tank boss fights
6. Chasing down enemy mobile command centers
7. Multiple sequences where you have to remotely control the Batmobile in the story to ambush enemies
8. Some of the Riddler trophies
9. AR challenges
10. An entire side mission built around tank fights
11. Chasing Firefly around Gotham
12. Driving around a confusing map with a poor camera while a drilling machine is chasing you in an underground boss battle
13. Batmobile platform sections
14. Driving random villains to the GCPD
15. Chasing cars holding Riddler informants
16. Chasing enemies driving away from cops (I never figured out what the point of that is though)
17. Using the Batmobile to scan the environment and follow trails
18. Using Batmobile sonar to find the roots for some stupid tree for Poison Ivy
19. Protecting Poison Ivy from enemy tanks
20. Wiping out flying drones
21. Shooting breakable objects in the environment
22. You'll have to waste a number of your upgrade points on the car, instead of using them to upgrade Batman himself
23. You'll have to use it multiple times for the side mission requiring you to wipe out enemy checkpoints throughout the city
24. Multiple takes on Ico, where you have to clear a path for the Batmobile

The Batmobile sticks to you throughout the entire game like glue, whether you like it or not. It's like an obnoxious pet. It's the Robin to your Batman

Rocksteady is so enamored by the Batmobile, it gets *spoiler* destroyed at one point in the story...and is immediately replaced by a swanky new one with a completely different color scheme after Batman proudly proclaims, "Luscius built a spare"

When you first get the Batmobile, the camera zooms in on it from multiple angles like the way the camera zooms in on Batman's ass in the Joel Schumaker movies.

They might as well play the Team America theme song throughout the game and replace "America" with BATMOBILE!!!!

FUCK YEAH!!!

Coming again to save the motherfucking day YEAH!!!!

I think that the best way to improve Rocksteady's series of Batman games is to remove the caped crusader himself. Anyway, I just know that its brand-new edition, called Batman: Arkham Knight's Batgirl, will be launched soon! Who are just waiting for it, like me?

Is this the best Batman game? Unfortunately, no. Is this game better that some of it's other games. Yes! Most definitely! Batman: Arkham Knight does not beat the amazing Arkham City, but the game is still an fantastic game and is a game that is for true fans of the franchise. Where the game lacks at is the overuse of the Batmobile and a bit of lack in the story. Some parts of the game overuse the Batmobile in mission and can kind of get very tedious, but don't get me wrong because the Batmobile is still a very fun tool to use sometimes. The only part in the story that left me disappointed in was the super predictiable twist.

I like his take on it, though I wouldn't say I agree with all his points. And I agree with his score, 6/10.

Odd thing is and I don't understand it myself I only beat what's supposed to be the last riddler test using first person view(R1 on ps4 I think) to get over that part. Honestly the batmobile doesn't bug me but it does have it's quirks but is definitely fixed for me when I've learned some of it's tricks only thing is though

It still annoys the heck out of me at the part where you're trying to take down all those cobra tanks to get to the cloudburst. I've not had a major issue with this car other than that last riddler race up to this point...having the distract with the 60mm cannon upgrade helps but they need to better tell if the tank is actually on your level or below since I've gotten spooked way too easily by the indicators

I just played that garbage. I think Rocksteady is trolling everyone. I can't believe they would actually put something like that in the game. You have moving buzzsaws, spinning blade traps, parts of the track where you have to drive along the wall while activating and de-activating obstacles along the way, and then compressors randomly coming down to squash your car, all while dealing with Riddler's distracting taunts and trying to overcome the Batmobile's awful handling

Playing through this sadistic, hot garbage I just thought to myself, "Rocksteady legitimately hates us. This game is basically them giving us all the middle finger. Something happened between City and this game that made them hate all of their fans and all Bat fans"

There are things in this game that just make you think, "Who are these people? This isn't the same company that made Asylum and City. It just can't be. WTF!?"

I don't know the first two laps were easy to me, it's the last part that hits hard. I only beat it with the first person mode of the batmobile somehow(I'm still trying to figure that out now). Not as troublesome as a point that should be coming up next in the storyline with the Batmobile(it's fun but I'm stuck at it since it's hard as heck to really tell where the thing is...). I don't have the "they must hate us" vibe but more of a attempted to make the game relatively challenging for the last game and may've overdid it to some extent. There's a strategy to the tank parts that's a little tougher than most other parts in my opinion...

Well I 86%'d it at the end, I almost want to count it as beat since it looks like you have to have 7 or all to get a ending

I just get a snip from Alfred saying that now might be the time to reassert my control....I just don't know if i want to track down every riddler trophy...that's a lot of tropies...especially since somehow i only managed to get 30 in my playthrough so I'd have to get 213 more just to get him and firefly is a pain in the tail *sigh*
