Plans? no, but you never know what happens.AppleQueso wrote:Were you ever planning on selling it anyway?Jmustang1968 wrote:Hooray for my copy retaining value.
It is also just generally better, at least to me, when items or collectibles you own retain some value.

Oh, I know. My ex-girlfriend owned a copy, and as a horror game fan, I was sorry to see it go. I'll track down a copy someday.Jmustang1968 wrote:Sorry for you guys wanting to try it. Hooray for my copy retaining value.
It really is just a mediocre game anyway. My wife loved Silent Hill games, so I suggested it to her and I think she received it as a gift. So technically it is her copy and not mine haha.

I'll sell my copy for $200!
And I don't expect any offers!
But if some crazy nutjob wants to buy it for that amount, I won't pass it up!

I guess I just look at it from more of a "how much will I have to pay if I need to replace this" standpoint. Easier and cheaper it is to replace, the better imo.Jmustang1968 wrote: It is also just generally better, at least to me, when items or collectibles you own retain some value.

I looked up the price of this and I'm shocked. I played this forever ago and I thought it was somewhere around plain bad and average. Wouldn't pay $10 to revisit this let alone $80 and up.
Re: Atlus reprinting Rule of Rose on PS2
It's partly due to the low print run and partly due to it being controversial and banned in some countries, hence the increased interest.brunoafh wrote:I looked up the price of this and I'm shocked. I really don't care how much my collection is worth. In fact, I'd be thrilled if the retro collecting bubble were to burst and the value of my collection dropped 90%, as long as video games in general did the same.

Again, I don't plan to, but I do not know. I have had other things I wasn't planning to sell but did. My collection is actually a liquidable asset at this point. If I needed money I could sell them. I paid for my daughters birth hospital bills by having a sale about a year ago.BoneSnapDeez wrote:......are you selling it?Jmustang1968 wrote:Sorry for you guys wanting to try it. If I own something, I prefer it retains value.
