I'd trade the JPN bundle for the US Sonic bundle in a heartbeat.

~10-12 games for it
-2 game pads
Two questions:

The component only outputs 240p, right?

What's the point of region modding it except to play Samurai Shodown RPG?

I tried to tell you! Your standards were too low. Sure you can get carts cheap, but it's rewarding to be patient.

What'd you get?

I prefer the UK clamshell cases, very sturdy and slick looking

I believe it's 240p... it's a Neobitz encoder, I know that much. I actually have only had it hooked up to my CRT, but I can plug it into the LCD and see what it tells me for resolution today after work.

And the point was mainly that it was about 5 dollars to throw a switch in, and this way I can get English text if I want it. SSRPG *IS* the primary reason though :D
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed

So tell me, since you all know far more than I when it comes to Neo Geo.

Assume I bought a 161-1 cart. Including the price of the cart, what is the absolute cheapest I could get it up and running on my TV. Assume I only have a controller for it.

So, I would at least need:
System
cart
hookups?

I am considering it right now, I just know nothing about it. I would really, want to start on the super cheap.

PS, if someone had a setup they were willing to cash/trade I may be in the market LOL.
