It won't, but, it's also not a Steambox/Steam Machine/officially tied to Valve in any way.EvilRyu2099 wrote: But how the hell will this fit a Titan GPU?

By the dimensions given by valve it will be shaped like a DVR:EvilRyu2099 wrote:I'm curious to what it would actually look like then..
12 x 12.4 x 2.9 in high
With a 90degree riser, the titan could fit in sideways.

And the only picture of it floating around:

Handson with many other pictures:

What I find interesting is that the demo units are coming with PS/2 ports. Well that and that there are no current media capabilities.

Re: Steambox is real
Ok , some one just tell me the conclusion of this:
1)Will there be a SteamBox , or will there NOT be a SteamBox
2)If a SteamBox is to show up, when are we expecting it? Because I had heard rumours of stuff that was to be released 3 years in the future and I am not waiting that long.
I am starting to get ideas to buy a new computer but if a SteamBox is about to come out I am willing to wait.

Re: Steambox is real
Easy to answer:
1. Yes
2. Next year
I would advise against using it as your primary gaming PC for the next few years since it will not support alot of games natively at launch. So build the PC.

What is point of releasing SteamBoxif its not going to play Steam games?fastbilly1 wrote:Easy to answer:

Re: Steambox is real
It can play Steam games. The problem is that since SteamOS is a derivative of Linux, it cannot run Windows games. By having a SteamBox as you primary gaming PC, you'll be missing out on a lot of games. Sure, there's a nice amount of Linux games available but if you wanted to play something like Dragon Age or BatMan Arkham City, you're out of luck.RCBH928 wrote:What is point of releasing SteamBoxif its not going to play Steam games?
Now if you had a gaming PC running Windows and a SteamBox (preferably connected to the TV), you could use Steam's streaming capabilities to stream Windows only games from your gaming PC to you Steambox circumventing the Linux incompatibility.
