To our friend Breetai. We're all going to miss you buddy.

As the father of a now seven-year-old girl, the thought of Mr. Cheslock dying having only two years with his daughter brought tears to my eyes. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

It's a true testament to Blake's character and to how positively he came across on this board that even I, who was never very close to him, and I'm sure a few others here, got sad and touched by this news.

I really hope the family pulls through.

Today was Christmas, and yet I haven't been able to shake the news of this great loss from my thoughts. My earnest prayers go out to the family & friends of Blake Cheslock.

On a more positive note, we shared many a PM not only discussing PC Engine particulars, but also our shared faith in Christ. My first PCE actually came from Breetai nearly four years ago. He was eager to offer his recommendations on must-have titles, peripherals, and just general advice in getting the most out of my new console. I'll miss those conversations. :(

My stomach just sank hearing about this. Really hard to accept. As everyone else has said, he was by far one of the best and most upbeat members across the community for sure.

If anyone can keep us updated on his family that'd be great, my best wishes go out to them and everyone involved.

I never really talked with Breetai but he seemed pretty cool. He was one of my favorite members here... my condolences to his family and I hope his daughter will heal quickly.

Im the exact same. I don't even know if we ever directly responded to one another. But man if Im not tearing up. I've just been pacing back and forth thinking for the past 30 minutes, I don't even know what to do with myself.

I hope we set up some sort of fund for his daughter. I just want to do anything I can to help.
