It doesn't on Japanese units. Unsure about US units. If so, that would put a non-boxed US set in the $200-250 range I guess. That's probably around the same price you'd pay for a shipped Japanese set, possibly boxed.
Sorry, should have clarified that I meant for US units. You're spot on.

This topic is about pricing help...literally.

The moderator said negotiations (re: a member wanting to purchase) should be via pm and / or moved to the B/S/T.

The last comments have not been attempts to buy the unit, but rather clarification on what value the box may add to the system - not negotiations to buy this particular unit, so those comments are appropriately placed.

It is important to remember, all threads may start out about a specific member, game, question, etc, however all threads are available to all members and often they branch out and help multiple members, not only today, but long into the future.

A caveat to anyone seriously considering purchasing this item from OP - I'm currently having a transaction-related issue with the OP.

If OP completes his side of the transaction with actual shipment of the goods I purchased, I'm going to publicly apologize. Otherwise, I'm going to escalate this as negative feedback.

With that said, I urge anybody considering a purchase to either wait for OP to resolve this issue OR send payment as PayPal goods if they absolutely can't wait. Under no circumstances should you send as PayPal gift or enter into a trade.

Will keep you guys updated. I gave OP a deadline of Thurs, 9/13 to provide either a valid tracking number or actual delivery of the items.

@dreamcast4ever - this doesn't look good. It is poor form to be actively selling items to other members via pm if you are having issues with already completed transactions.

I would hope you can offer an explanation to those who have current deals pending with you exactly what is going on.

To anyone else, save all PM's and don't edit posts. If there is a problem, which he hope there isn't, but if there is, paypal / credit companies will use time-stamped and unedited web communications in disputes, as needed.

This is really sad i have a perfect track reccord on my ebay account and have never had any problems. I shipped an item which got returned from the post office is all and it had to be resent. This tends to happen sometime's with the post office. im not perfect. Also on that same note furture more anyone who had any issue which has been one person. I fully refunded there money to them.

Anyone here can look at my track record on ebay. I find it rude that this was posted since i have not even had time to help fix the situation yet and have already said that if they want i would be glad to refund fully since the package is taking long to get there.

The person said that this was not needed and will wait.

Dreamcast99travis is my ebay account for anyone who would like to see my track reccord which is 100% on every sale with great comments.

So I have one problem due to post office issues and before i can fix the problem i get publicly called out?! I hope some here will at-least look at my record and give me the benefit of the doubt. I have never and would never screw any person over.

The person above who said this comment i have been actively talking with and offered them a full refund if they wanted one. He denied it and said he will wait. I can understand if i was not speaking with him or trying to resolve the situation but I am and he agreed so this is very upsetting indeed.

Anyone here who sells on ebay knows that sometimes there is shipping problems. this is not the first and it will not be the last but the point is im fixing the issue. I am now gonna go do a full refund to the person above regardless.

Our local post office had problems that and i messed up on the information on one i shipped.

As I said if i just ignored the person and did not talk to them as well as offer a refund sure this post would make sense but that's not the case and the person above is being out of line. I would never call someone out like this unless i did not get my package or if i did not get a refund.

After I refund this person above i will no longer sell on this forum cause I don't want any problems like this. Besides after this call out i doubt i could anyways. but I will say one more time I have never and would never intentionally screw someone over and this is not fair once so ever.

I hope you sensed from my last post that I was still giving you the benefit of a doubt, since I did say that I'd be willing to publicly apologize if all of this was indeed a result of miscommunication between you and me. Furthermore, I hope I've built a reputation on these forums as a reasonably patient buyer who wouldn't escalate transaction issues without good cause...in fact, I believe I've only ever left negative feedback for Kholdstare (before he turned around as Kid Dracula), and his dodgy reputation as Kholdstare is pretty solidly verified by the experience of others.

With that said, I hope you understand that the whole transaction process has raised a considerable number of red flags. You said you would ship on 8/25. When I contacted you approximately 2 weeks later, you shifted from incredulity that the package had not arrived yet, to reassurance that your wife always ships with tracking and insurance, to stating that shipping was delayed due to personal and post office issues.

All throughout those messages, I kept reassuring you that the only piece of information I was requesting is a tracking number and a shipping date (either actual or expected). You never provided clear guidance as to either.

Needless to say, the fact that excuses kept popping up and you never directly answered my question raises a lot of red flags. I'm reluctant to say it, but the whole matter was a bit Kholdstare-esque (for those of you who were around before he turned around as Kid Dracula).

If you wish to continue selling on these forums (or any forum for that matter), perhaps it would be a good idea to avoid raising the red flags that I mentioned? It doesn't project a very good image as a seller.

Im not selling anymore cause of this. I enjoy this place and it's not worth it cause if there is a simple shipping error I'll get called out like this. Im pretty livid and upset Im gonna refund you fully. you could have allowed me to refund you instead of this I think it's uncalled for personally. you could go look at my feedback on ebay and your find 100% no problems

Although I have had shipping problems in the past and then the item came in late and it was done. Every comment i have from selling lots of Atari's, boxed systems, anything you name it has been perfect.

Im no longer gonna be upset I will refund you sir and leave it at that.
